  1. I like the red shirt he wore at the Chicago show best. Only show he's worn that at so far.

  2. I think it's usually a male crew member but sometimes someone else will do it for fun. Also wow that suit really is filthy!

  3. It's a festival date 🥲 I would have definitely tried to make it if it was a standalone show. But yes, fucking awesome. I am shaking. My wife is pushing me to book the tickets.

  4. I love he wants to see himself with it in the mirror!

  5. Today (10 September 2024), Green Day are playing in Austin, TX on the Saviors Tour. On this day 5 years ago (10 September 2019), Green Day played the Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood, CA before the postponed/cancelled Hella Mega Tour dates. More photos: I have no idea what was going on with the red stuff. I checked out during that era. I do like the album now though. 29 years ago (10 September 1995), Green Day played in Offenbach am Main, Germany on the Insomniac Tour. 30 years ago (10 September 1994), Green Day played in Cuyahoga Falls, OH on the Dookie Tour. This was a $5 makeup show for the Cleveland one on 23 July 1994 that went to shit. You could also say that this one went to shit, because the barrier separating the lawn from the seats was broken down and when it rained, people started tearing up the lawn and throwing mud at each other. Green Day finished their set though. 31 years ago (10 September 1993), Green Day supported Bad Religion at the Hollywood Palladium.

  6. The I think the black shirt with the red collar is my favorite, followed closely by the one he just wore with the stripes across the chest. (Also Billie, just saying, you could bring back that short-sleeve shirt if you want, we’d enjoy that.)

  7. Yeah I would not want to get in that for anything - can you imagine the smell??

  8. Please not festivals and huge stadiums though

  9. Great video, I look at that crowd and will never understand how anyone can go out and perform, it would scare me rigid! I think Billie has made it fairly well known he needs left in peace before a show.

  11. I’ve watched this video of Billie picking out a guitar to buy like 5 times today. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C_unQv2t_xz/?igsh=MWM2bTE2aXRteTU4ZQ==

  12. Holy shit really?? I had no idea!! I'd assumed they did on every tour beforehand. This makes the show so much more special! My first Green Day concert, the first show post rehab, AND the start of their Bohemian Rhapsody tradition? Really confirms my theory that Chicago is their favorite city

  13. Yeah, it was Rosemont. There was a lot of talk about how poignant it was because it was the first time they'd done it and no-one was expecting it. It was "Do You Remember Rock 'n' Roll Radio?" on the 21st Century Breakdown Tour.

  14. Love that they keep adding countries they haven't played before. 😊

  15. I bought one for that show. I was torn between the one with just Billie striking a cool pose with Blue or the one after Good Riddance with all three of them. I went with the one of all three because for a Green Day shirt I wanted it to not just be Billie. But if I had my choice, I would have preferred a shot of them with their arms around each other at the end instead of standing all spread out. Those are the cutest.

  17. Nearly half the photos for my Eventshop merch from Pittsburgh was wide shots of the stage, not of anyone in particular, and I found that really annoying for that type of product. I don’t want a faraway shot where they all look tiny and I’m looking at stage screens!

  18. I believe this is in Washington. My bf and I spotted the W logo (which looks like the Walgreens logo) for the Washington Nationals.

  19. The suit is disgusting! I think you can see it’s sometimes a female and sometimes a male in the bunny suit, I thought it was Alice Baxley one day recently.

  20. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. Sadly, I will be in Japan till 8th March. But nevertheless, what an amazing this to happen. Hope the event people don't fuck it up!! Hopefully more dates, soon? But I doubt that will happen since they would have announced it together with this.

  21. They just announced a date in India next year! First time they'll play there apperently. ( @Ritz!!) https://www.instagram.com/p/C_uSkLSMb-z/?igsh=MTgyY2o1aDdwYnR5bw==

  23. Absolutely loved that video. I love this type of content. You and me both. I love public speaking, and sure the biggest crowd in which I have ever given a speech or talk was around 350 people, so I'm off by a factor of a 100 lol, but the adrenaline rush, that mix of anticipation, fear and excitement, right before starting is honestly the best part of it for me... it's like the feeling of going a roller coaster (again, for someone who loves roller coasters). So I get how people who feel that way about performing manage to go up there and do it, it must be sooo exhilarating. Now, how Billie, who has been so vocal about getting stage fright, does it I have no idea. Especially being that he is the one that does the most crowd interaction.

  29. lmao I can't imagine what prompted you to check this! 🤣 That requirement is even more limited than ours and doesn't make sense (KROQ's Orange County based and serves LA)! 🤨 Also curious if these are the same events or not — Kimmel tapes in the afternoon/early evening so it's plausible it could be two different things, but since they're not selling tickets, it seems, the 1iota listing could be the only ticket source 🤔

  30. I'm positive it was Rosemont. Maybe @solongfromthestarsremembers. They definitely weren't using it during the 21CB era but I just can't remember if they used it at the few shows in 2012. I don't think so. As I say it just seemed super poignant at the time in Rosemont after everything having to be rescheduled

  31. I thought they'd been doing the Bohemian Rhapsody thing way before Rosemont 2013. Does some one know? Because if they launched it at that show, it makes that concert extra special for me

  32. Same. We deserve shows but need time to save up. 👸🏼 And please, include some headliner shows. I hate festivals.

  35. There is a residency requirement listed in the rules even though it isn’t explicitly stated on the contest page, fyi: “Individuals who are both 18 years of age of older and legal San Diego County, CA residents as of the entry date may enter and potentially win Contests (“Entrant(s)”).”

  42. I love Billie standing up for their entire disocraphy when it's mentioned that people thought Green Day were "past their prime" back in the day. "They were wrong" - and then he and Tre talk about the measure of success. You sell 10 million and then 5 million looks bad. Let it be known, Green Day don't have any albums that were massive failures and here's some positive facts about their most hated albums: Uno deputed at #2 on billboard. Dos came in at #9 on billboard and got the highest average reviews of the Trilogy. Tre got generally positive review from critics, deputed at #13 at X-Kid reached #36 in the charts. and FOAM - its debuted at #4, it's their 11th top 10 album and again, and as today it's streaming numbers are over 140 Millionish. Even Green Day's lows are making millions.

  45. I love all of Billie's speeches during Letterbomb. I still think about the one he made in Rosemont on the 99 Revolutions tour. That one felt extra special because we were the kick off show for the tour post rehab.
