Well, the Wembley thing could be a chance for a big material for an AI 20th Anniversary edition. However, if that's NOT the case... I think there are some several options from AI that can be released now as a "complete" live album, apart from BIAB/Milton Keynes. I consider these options because some stuff from those shows were released on singles from AI era: * Tokyo, Japan 2005 (There was a CD/EP released for a special japanese CD release in 2005, which was used also in some 21stCB releases) * Irving Plaza, NY 2004 (There are some live songs on singles, plus a live version on video of JOS in JOS DVD Single) * Vh1 Storytellers 2004 (There are some live songs released on WMUWSE singles and some JOS Singles) I'm saying this considering the choices taken for Nimrod and Dookie Anniversary releases, in which the live shows chosen contained live tracks that were released on singles or compilations in those eras.3 points

I'm traveling from NY for this show so I'm keeping my fingers crossed and my hopes high for this!2 points

I have been inspired to start looking, and thinking about sorting out some of my things. I was quite impressed when I found this 1994 copy of NME in my stuff!😁 I can't believe the size of this magazine, and the fact that it is thirty years old! I didn't buy it in 1994 (I was too young to be into GD), but I bought it off ebay when I first got into them around 2004/2005, so I have had it quite a few years!lol!2 points

Rediscovered my account today, so this is a few days late I had the time of my life (pun definitely intended;)) at the Toronto show on Thursday! I had been dreaming about seeing Green Day live for a few years now and it finally happened and I'm just so happy I got the opportunity to go. Will definitely be going to the next tour2 points

On this day 3 years ago (4 August 2021), Green Day played in Queens, NY on the Hella Mega Tour. More photos: 15 years ago (4 August 2009), Green Day played in Miami, FL on the 21st Century Breakdown Tour. More photos: 23 years ago (4 August 2001), Green Day played KNDD 107.7 Endfest in Bremerton, WA on the Warning Tour. 35 years ago (4 August 1989), Green Day played Marsugi's in San Jose, CA.2 points

See the Wembley thread. There were multiple posts from different members of the film team and a very large (20+) camera crew. Much more than for just archives or a live feed. Their own camera crew of Baxley and Schneider usually take the film for social media. One of the camera operators said they were looking forward to seeing the final result, another compared the experience to BIAB. They definitely filmed it for a future release That’s what one fan was told. Personally I think most of those songs have already been released in one form or another on various albums, deluxe editions and side projects.2 points

I hope it wasn’t me that didn’t seem excited 😅, because I was. I guess being further away was still slightly less exciting for me (I could barely see the band), I had some issues to take care of and couldn’t go find a spot earlier on. But being further made me appreciate even more how much Billie is good at working the crowd. People were really responding from the front to the back. Billie’s vocals were great too. The band seemed to enjoy the energy of the crowd which was fun.2 points

From what I'm seeing now it shows just rain in the forecast. I hope it changes or at least stays as is. I can deal with rain during the show and as long as the wind isn't crazy, I don't see them canceling for just rain.1 point

You can get official photos from each US show here: https://hello.eventshop.com/green-day/info1 point

That’s my worries currently as well☹️ I’m just crossing my fingers storms go around us and everything is good by the time it starts. When I saw them a few years back during hella mega, it did rain as well but no lighting or anything too severe and the show was able to still go on and with no ‘delays’ and etc.1 point

I think the coffee is just the start, there’s no way that’s the only thing1 point

Getting nervous about how this will shake out with the bad weather hitting the east coast later this week — I know venues and performers make every effort for the show to go on for its scheduled date, but if the weather is severe, I hope they don’t delay postponing/canceling until people are already at the stadium. Since they’ll just be a couple hours away in Hershey on the 10th, I’m wondering if they could postpone Philly to the 11th. Doesn’t seem to be anything going on at the baseball park that day.1 point

YouTube suggested this video for me today. Came here to share it, but saw you had beaten me to it 😄 I'm glad we've had a few of the full album shows on video, even if they are not the most amazing quality.1 point

Just got my tickets for tonight (I was waiting to see if they would go down in price), and I'll be in section 131. Looks like my mom is going with me now, so she'll finally be able to hear WMUWSE live. But, it looks like prices did go down. Regular GA is t $288, and the $288 seats on the lower level now seem to be at $192.1 point

When you spend a lot of money on one hoodie on the Saviors tour;)1 point

Maybe they really are waiting for the 30th anniversary to do a CD box set1 point

I guess that's only the beginning. I can't see them not doing a vinyl/CD box. That machine looks pretty cool though. But it looks like there's no international shipping? So the grind stuff a few weeks ago was UK exclusive, this one seems to be US exclusive?1 point

This is what I took from it, too. I don’t think his humor/demeanor lands with everyone. I didn’t really see anything problematic with him in that story, other than not being overwhelmingly gracious like they seemed to expect. Out of the three guys, I always hear the worst fan interaction stories about Tre — I think Billie and Mike are naturally a bit friendlier or warmer, and Tre is more aloof (or just weird lmao) in a way that comes across poorly sometimes.1 point

We already have BIAB. In dookie 30 and nimrod 25 they gave us unrealeased concerts. Hope the same for American idiot.1 point

That crowd looked really huge and the show looked great from the footage. Am sorry you folks who were there don’t seem that excited by it!1 point

@ Billie, if you wanna maybe start wearing short sleeves at these 90 degree shows, we’d all enthusiastically support you, just saying.1 point

It's over and the setlist was boring. Not gonna lie I like every Green Day shows but it wasn't AI and Dookie. Really really quick show. Quebec City last year was still my favorite with 1981 and Stuart. Mike Dirnt waved at me1 point

I really liked the pink football shirt but it was expensive. I had to buy a OEB t-shirt because I knew I'd kick myself if I didn't, but even that was 🤑!1 point
