I was at the show. Lightning/rain caused rancid to stop after like 2 songs. It was about a 45 min evacuation under shelter until we were let back to our seats. Smashing pumpkins took over from there and Green Day hit the stage around 840 and got a full 2 hr 20 min set in. They played every song that was on the setlist! Incredible night!

My favorite one in there was "since when does punk rock talk about politics?" Ummm... day 1?

The European crowds were very tame this time around. I had clear air behind me at all the shows I went to with the exception of when I moved back at Wembley. It was rougher there but in an "I am now a tinned sardine" way, not a violent way.

Good Riddance is getting a bump in Spotify streams. Probably due to being in Deadpool. 677k per day and up to #5 recently most popular for Green Day.

OMG that was the hottest day of my life! I’m surprised I didn’t pass out from the heat! 😂 I was front row and I didn’t even line up early, I got in line at 11am and doors opened at 4pm. I think everybody wanted center view and most were crowding around the center of the stage. There was so much space on the sides so I went to the left side near Jason White. It’s also near the exit so I stayed there lol. This was one of the best concert experiences I’ve had. Except the rain but I got the same spot back so it was all good. The people were nice enough to hold my spot for bathroom breaks between sets 😂😂. The setlist was great! Wish they played longer haha I can only wish 😂! The crowd wasn’t as energetic as I thought it would be but it was probably because of the heat I saw some people pass out. Also I wished security gave out water to the crowd but they didn’t at all. Unlike some venues they give out water to the crowd throughout the concert Wish I could post pictures and videos but I can’t upload any. I could only share links to websites

Wow, what a shame the weather turned like that! After all the build up and excitement I bet everyone was very anxious about it! Glad it was just a short pause but really sad for Rancid and their fans.

I thought the whole set and light show etc were just epic, right up there with 21CBD. So good we positioned ourselves at our second show to see it more front on then side on. Still couldn’t take my eyes off the stage/screens though.

I’ll never understand Crush’s marketing…Bobby Sox had ZERO radio play yet had a music video and like mentioned above had the perfect summer vibe single appeal but nothing…Corvette Summer probably will be a great video but Coma City, 1981, Suzie, Strange Days, I feel would be stronger choices…the band and management make odd single choices …(Westbound Sign should have been a single off insomniac…Scattered/Worry Rock could have been better then last ride in or nice guys finish last…Church on Sunday/Castaway would have had better potential then Warning/Macy's Day Parade for broad appeal..AI…whatshername could have been released otherwise no complaints..last night on earth/restless heart syndrome could have replaced last of the American girls and east jesus nowhere..and crush stopped promoting no started up again on the heels of the US tour but this record should have been promoted longer in my opinion cause once the 20th anniversary of AI starts getting promoted Saviors will be pushed to the side unfortunately and it’s universally liked by the fans.

Depending on which scene is used for "Time of Your Life," it's going to give Green Day a tremendous boost on Spotify. Trust me.

Great article, but it fucks me off when people *still* spell Billie's name wrong. It's really not that fucking hard. He's one of the most famous rock dudes of the last 40 years. It's not like people talk about Mike Jagger, or Johnny Hendrix. Just get it fucking right.
