I loved it. It's so silly, purposefully bad/cheap looking... it's funny and light-hearted. Also, I just love the thought that Mike should have been so excited to act with with Mark Hamill.

When I got GD prayer candles I had no choice but to make an actual shrine. Newest thing I added was awesome GDA sticker @solongfromthestarsgave me at the Wembley show last month along with the cool One Eyed Bastard confetti . Favourite things on it besides the candles are the Rev's beer can, Billie birthday card my nephew made me, mini Blue from my brother, pink Claire's makeup bag from AI era and Mike's pick that the lovely J'net very sweetly gifted to me at my first GD show when he gave her it In the box on the right I have lots of gig mementos like confetti, wristbands and tickets as well as other random stuff

Excited for this. Man, ‘Saviors’ is just such a great record. Can’t get enough of it still. Never thought they had it in them this late in their career.

I don't know why, but I was laughing so hard about the cat 😂 I haven't seen the actual movie, so I think I didn't really get it all, but it was a nice video. But I must admit, I liked the music videos for the other "Saviors" songs more. But this was a fun one for sure 🙂

Just a simple and fun video... but I was hoping to see a real Corvette drive, a real-life scenerio with a summertime vibe. I have in mind a clip ,,Ride em on down'' by Rolling Stones. Something like that would've been great. Btw I haven't seen the movie so I dont know the plot and the main idea behind it.

It's cute! I like that they actually have a concept and it's not just another random performance video. I don't think the classroom wrap around was necessary - it wasn't shown too much - but I really enjoyed the rest of the video and the weird, cheapo, low budget vibe they were going for. Also, Mark Hamill. Lol. That's awesome.

I'm currently reading Nobody Likes You by Marc Spitz, and I've read Cometbus, and Rebels With A Cause by Gaar. Are there any other biographies out there? Or books that have good sections on the band (or even the East Bay Punk Scene)? Also, NLY and RWAC were both published in the mid-00s. Does anyone know of any GD books that cover their post AI career? (As an author, my mind is now buzzing like... shall I fucking write one? No... that's stupid right? Right?)

I watched most of the movie last night (it has aged very badly, couldn’t make it all they way through) and saw enough to get this, hilarious, right up there with the dodgy 70’s production. Love it.

I’ll never understand Crush’s marketing…Bobby Sox had ZERO radio play yet had a music video and like mentioned above had the perfect summer vibe single appeal but nothing…Corvette Summer probably will be a great video but Coma City, 1981, Suzie, Strange Days, I feel would be stronger choices…the band and management make odd single choices …(Westbound Sign should have been a single off insomniac…Scattered/Worry Rock could have been better then last ride in or nice guys finish last…Church on Sunday/Castaway would have had better potential then Warning/Macy's Day Parade for broad appeal..AI…whatshername could have been released otherwise no complaints..last night on earth/restless heart syndrome could have replaced last of the American girls and east jesus nowhere..and crush stopped promoting no started up again on the heels of the US tour but this record should have been promoted longer in my opinion cause once the 20th anniversary of AI starts getting promoted Saviors will be pushed to the side unfortunately and it’s universally liked by the fans.

So "When I Come Around" enters in the green day song podium on their spotify. it's in the second place now, and if we'd look on the numbers, its gaining insane daily numbers now, more than any other single (currently 819,000 daily -+). What is happening? Is it some Tiktok hype thing?
