  1. This compilation makes me happy. ☺ https://www.instagram.com/reel/C9Fy7qdN1eG/?igsh=MXEwZm05YW1mcjVtaQ==

  2. I don't think any other bands their size charge less than them though, from what I can see any other acts their size charge the about same or (in many cases) more. And their show must also cost a lot more to put on than Descendents or Circle Jerks shows would since it's a bigger production. No artists make tons of money from record sales now. If they want to make a profit to pay themselves and all their staff they do it with tours. Green Day's shows aren't as much of a bargain as they used to be but I think they're still reasonable relative to other artists their size and considering where bands make money has shifted from albums to touring.

  3. I feel this. They are doing this huge tour that is pulling crowds in the tens of thousands and also seem to be getting a lot of publicity, but at the same there isn't the level of mainstream popularity that was say during the AI era.

  4. I'm not really sure how to describe what I'm saying but it's weird to me how Green Day are bigger than ever and yet they aren't at all at the same time.

  5. I really hate the new thing where every band is doing anniversary shows. Hopefully the next Green Day album cycle will see them shaking off this nostalgic-bone and celebrating the new album along with the classics. Even this is being hopeful at this point, but a setlist with 15-16 big hits and 3-4 new songs.

  6. On this day 7 years ago (7 July 2017), Green Day played the Mad Cool Festival on the Revolution Radio Tour. More photos: 11 years ago (2013), Green Day played the Montreux Jazz Festival on the 99 Revolutions Tour. This was actually quite a small show (4,000 people) in the middle of all the stadium shows. More photos: 15 years ago (2009), they played in Saskatoon, Canada on the 21st Century Breakdown Tour. 19 years ago (2005), they played in Rotterdam in the Netherlands on the American Idiot Tour. 24 years ago (2000), they played in Missoula, MT on the Warped Tour. And 34 years ago (1990), they played in Milwaukee, WI.

  9. My hate for festivals is bigger than for stadium shows. 😂 Festivals are very expensive, huge crowds, queuing for festivals is awful and they will probably not play anywhere close to were I live so even more pricey. We're all broke now right. 🤷‍♀️😅 I like to plan and have shows to look forward to, if they would announce something later this fall for next year it would be good.

  10. I can’t believe the European leg of the tour is already over. It was great seeing them live again, even if it was only one show. It was a great tour and it seemed like there were only positive vibes. I really hope there’ll be another leg or a new European tour soon. I don’t want to wait for multiple years. It was also good to see that they’re apparently still able to sell out these massive venues. Numbers don’t matter but it’s still nice to know that so many people genuinely care for the band and their music.

  11. Suzie chapstick would be a good single and video but I seriously doubt we will get anymore releases they seem ready to focus on the anniversary of American Idiot sucks because doing that they become closer to being just another nostalgia act out touring for memories hope that doesn't happen but crush entertainment already told weezer no new music this year because they need to celebrate blue album anniversary instead unfortunately they have the same plans for green day they only see them as greatest hits packages

  12. Unbelievable evening. As a show, I think maybe the BIAB Milton Keynes Bowl show probably pipped it just because they weren't rattling through two full albums and there was more time for BJA to interact with the crowd that day, but I never thought I'd get to see the band play Dookie and AI front-to-back again. To be in the Golden Circle literally meters away from the band and NOT feeling like I'm going to die standing up was amazing for a change. What an experience.

  15. Haven't they always done that snippet in Manchester as a nod to the band being from there since at least 2009?
