Saviors is still such a great album. Often when I can't decide which album I want to listen to, I simply start Saviors because it's just fun to hear from start to end 😌

I have Mega Evolved into Mega Fangirl over Billie taking my flag. That thing has been with me since the Paris show in 2010. It's been to all kinds of places but its most exciting adventure was definitely Costa Rica where it made it onto TV. Framing it has flag shagger vibes, but I think I'm going to have to retire it and frame it with photos some of Billie holding it.

Wish Bang Bang would make a return

Plus a little snippet of Free Falling earlier in the night! Great night, I was about 5/6 people back from the end of the catwalk. The crowd around me were good fun! I'd have to echo the above. Billie sounds unbelievably good at the moment 😍 the Dookie part does feel a little rushed, but once they get through that and into the mixed part before AI, it feels more relaxed. I've gotta say the new songs sound amazing live, Look Ma, OEB and Bobby Sox as a closer work so well live! I do wish there was a bit of variety to the set lists but oh well. The only song that's missing from the traditional GD set list for me is Hitchin a Ride. I didn't think I'd like this two full albums approach, but I think I could listen to AI in full at every show ❤️ On to Wembley 😎

They never disappoint do they?? Loved the show, and I second what’s said above, they sound soo good. Very glad I went. Had no problems with anything along the way. I’ve read so much negative stuff about the venue and have been stressing about so much in advance but everything went smooth and all the people I’ve chatted with have been so chill and friendly. 10/10 experience. As every time I’ve seen them, my only regret is not going to more shows.

It was a totally awesome show! Amazing energy start to finish and Billie was really on form. Seeing Dookie played in full was amazing, but getting American Idiot in full was definitely the highlight for me. It was great to hear some of those songs live for the first time (for me). I was lucky and got barrier a few people back from the catwalk, and had an awesome view. Arrived at about 12 noon to join the queue. My highlights were St Jimmy (Billie's energy during that is incredible), and Homecoming when the whole crowd were singing "we're coming home again", it was a real magical, spine-tingling moment that I will always remember. Also Mike and Tre running on at the end during good riddance to goof around with Billie was so cute. It's so great to see how much they are just loving being on stage and being together. You really feel the love and deep friendship between them. Billie said "we're gonna keep doing this forever", I really fucking hope they keep putting out music and touring, these guys are still just right at the top. It was my first Green Day show for 11 years, so pretty special for me. I felt super emotional during the show and also an overwhelming gratitude that these guys are still there for us. IMO GD shows are as much a chance for me to show them my love and gratitude for their work as for them to put on a show for us. Just love these guys so much, they are so unique and special ❤️

it was an amazing show ❤️ hearing the whole of dookie and american idiot live was an experience i'll cherish for the rest of my life 😇 managed to get to the front of the second barrier (the one behind the pens) and because of the constant moving (jumping and dancing) i got injured which forced me to move back abit to where the tech tower was 🤕 but it was worth the bruises and broken leg ❤️

Agreed, especially about the travel. I was worried about getting back to Dublin City centre after the show to get my bus home. Show ended at about 10:35, I was at my bus stop for 11:20. A full 1 hour and 40mins before my bus home .

Great show. They still sound so so good live. I didn't see the Dookie Plane at any point though, it was windy so they probably decided not to risk losing it. 😆 Setlist was a copy and paste of the Scotland show. Billie did play a tiny snippet of "the boys are back in town' by Thin Lizzy just before WMUWSE, I think most people didn't notice it.

The shirt knew just when to pop up.

Billie is looking completely gorgeous, we are getting flashes of hip and bellie and in Glasgow he had a couple of shirt buttons come undone. I’m not looking for any photos of that though, no sir, not hoping there are good, clear photos out there 😙

Loving the tour so far - such a shame that I don't get to see them this year (fingers crossed for a 2nd leg) + Homecoming sounds and seems to be the highlight of the show (please do not remove this song from future setlists, ever) + Lot's of sing along with the crowds, but less interaction between songs + Dilemma and Minority beeing played a step down from eb tuning, my guess is that they do this to spare BJ's voice (you can clearly tell that the high notes is a problem for him sometimes (OEB, Homecoming, Look Ma etc) + Bobby Sox is fucking amazing as a closing song - I think that BJ nails the high notes on this one, better than in the beginning after the release of the album - Please drop KYE

I think I might agree. The only downside is Billie has less interaction with the crowd, he has a lot to get through. I thought it might feel like they were just ticking boxes but though they blast through each song I got no sense of them just going through the motions, they are clearly getting a kick out of playing both records and new stuff.

I'm calling it now. This my favourite album / tour cycle since 21CB.

They do look like they are enjoying playing both records. Billie said it was cathartic for him to play through American Idiot. Clearly, because he still gets emotional sometimes when he sings Whatername or JOS. 🥰

On my way to Dublin for the concert tonight, the excitement is real. Too bad the airport pissoir has to wait a few years to get its favorite record played back to back live.

didnt play fall out boy songs from every album at their download show? it would be a great opportunity to finally hear songs they never play (looking at you: trilogy) imagine a set where they play 2-3 songs from EVERY album, and maybe even switch a few songs during a tour

Just found this info on Wembley Stadium site: Prohibited items Empty plastic reusable bottles are fine to bring into the stadium - these can then be filled at one of our free refillable water stations located inside the stadium. Please note, metal bottles will not be permitted inside the stadium. Oh and happy Green Day eve everyone!!🥳

Corvette Summer I think is a weak song and not a good single choice personally

If they could plug in "Going to Pasalaqua" and "Still Breathing", these shows would be absolutely perfect. This tour seems to be bringing in a lot of money for them to crawl in. Perhaps they could tweak this into a future set list that would perfectly celebrate all eras of the band. Except FOAM and Trilogy. Those songs are so masterful, it's like Billie said in his This is 40 deleted scene.....it can't be performed live. too dangerous. lol. I'm pushing my luck on the town now, but maybe "Father of All" could possibly get crammed in somewhere? No? Dang. Oh Love? I know, I know. But Pasalaqua and Still Breathing seem like they should be in the mix somewhere. Still Breathing is a big one from an album that is generally liked.

I hope they don’t drop it but my gut feeling has been telling me they may after this tour. But at the same time they seem to really be having fun with it so I could also seeing them keeping it. I feel like they could get away with alternating between JOS and Homecoming nightly during future tours

This show was possibly my favourite of the tour so far, although only by a tiny margin because the other two were so good. Where I was, everyone was singing, jumping and dancing. The band were really into it. Billie's voice was definitely hoarse yet he still sounded great. I was like, "how is that even possible?!" He's a total pro. While Tre was singing All By Myself, Billie was holding the Scottish flag up at the side of the stage (and then securing it as his cape), which was sweet. The fan who played Dilemma was great. I'm not that into fans doing anything more than Know Your Enemy, but that was just a lovely moment in general. He was so happy and we were all impressed, including Billie! Hard to choose a highlight but it was probably The American Dream Is Killing Me or One Eyed Bastard. I was so happy to be there seeing them again when they came onstage and I'm always that happy to hear One Eyed Bastard. On the way to the train station the day after the show, my friend and I went camera shopping and on the radio I heard the presenter saying "so you know what was the biggest gig of the year in Scotland? No, it wasn't Taylor Swift. It was Green Day!" They were gushing about how great it was. My phone pics are shit, but I'll share some anyway. I've got loads more photos of the fans onstage if they ever see this and want them. It definitely wasn't sold – it was a first come, first serve thing that was split in half, and no-one really knew about it until they saw maps of the park for the show. The VIPs only had access to Mike's side, but GA had access to both. It was a bit of a shitfest and the VIPs were ripped off in several ways, but I'll save that for another post.

The post-GD-tour-void is kicking in right now😢 On the one hand I feel so happy and grateful that I was able to attend 4 shows and I'm full of wonderful memories, but on the other hand I already miss them and the time between tours is always so long.

Really wish I could be at the UK shows but with these huge venues I'm still just not well enough (well might be able to make it through the show but not the travelling,etc)

i got pushed really bad into the barrier (during welcome to paradise) and my leg caught between it but i ignored the pain until after the gig where i had to sit on the grass for 1 hour until i could move again lol but thank you thou ❤️
