8 weeks on Alternative, 10 on Canadian Rock, and 12 on Rock and Alternative. If it's still #1 next week on R&A, it'll tie Still Breathing for longest GD #1 on that chart.6 points

Love reading about everyone's experiences at the shows in Europe. Yes I would love to see a broken up setlist. I loved the 21st Century era tours. Not for complete album, but alot of deep cuts too. Not looking forward to the festival shows this year. Still waiting to see if any discounted tickets come up last minute in San Francisco, not excited about seeing any of the other bands. I miss the Green Day tour in Arenas not with all these other bands. I've seen them every time they tour, seeing all the club shows, but gonna miss this one. first saw them in Petaluma at the Phoenix theater in 1991 and still seeing them today is special.3 points

On this day 23 years ago (20 June 2001), Green Day played in St. Louis, MO on the Warning Tour. Imagine hearing Castaway, Church on Sunday, No Pride, Fashion Victim, Redundant and Macy's Day Parade in one show. I know that was standard back then, but still. 26 years ago (1998), Green Day played the KROQ Weenie Roast in Irvine, CA.2 points

Had a dream I was in the UK to watch the filming of a podcast I watch (which doesn't even film in the UK, but okay). It was filming in Green Day's practice studio. A number of the behind the scenes people were there along with Kevin. He was very interested in the podcast to the point where he joined us in the first row. He was also wearing green lipstick.2 points

Green Day is on the soundtrack for the new Just Dance game. It's Basket Case which is even weirder.2 points

Iâm loving the recent setlists. Seems like Green Day has solidified a consistent and jam packed 37 song setlist the past few shows. Hoping they keep it for the remainder of the tour!2 points

Hay everyone, itâs been some time since Iâve been on here. I may start checking in from time to time But I donât know. i just wanna say that Iâm sorry for blowing up a little while ago on here. I was just really upset over the accusations that i was spreading fake songs and lying to people. Doing that has never been my intention. iâve just always wanted to find cigarettes and valentines and Iâm always looking for leads, Iâm a huge lost media buff and love rare stuff related to green day. it just sucks because I know there are some good people in the fandom but also some really shitty ones whom I wonât name. But for those who have been supportive thank you so so much for your kindness. once again I just wanna say I never meant to lie or deceive anybody. All I ever did was share stuff that I thought may or may not have been a lead, I never claimed any of it to be 100% real, I just was sharing because I wanted peopleâs opinions on if it was real or not. thanks green day community for helping me stay up to date with my fav band, and hopefully things can be more peaceful and civilized in the future. once again, Iâm sorry. -Banjo Dewulf.2 points

This pic is taken from the back in Arnhem last night and shows the front pit. Surely the Wembley front pit will be more like a proper gold circle? I know someone who asked Wembley but they didn't reply1 point

I agree with all of this. As I said in my post, in Lyon in particular I met many super dedicated fans who had VIP tickets, I met people in the regular queue who had bought VIP tickets for Paris. And I know there are fans with legitimate reasons to not be able to queue all day. And it's okay for these people to have the chance to buy a VIP ticket. But in Paris I have as surrounded in the barricade by people who were not really engaged with the concert. Hence I say the best solution, IMO, is to make them truly VIP and sell way less, preferably available only through pre-sales links. It's the best way to guarantee that the people who buy them will actually be people who will appreciate the show and engage with it, and not people who bought them just because it was what was left when they heard about the concert (since at least for Lyon, Paris and Hamburg these sold out only after the GA ones did), or because they like a couple of songs and have a lot of disposable income.1 point

Amazing show last night! Very similar setlist to Lyon, with the same number of songs I believe, only that here they played Hitchin' a Ride in the section between albums, but then skipped Minority in the final section. But we got The American Dream Is Killing Me, Look Ma No Brains, One Eyed Bastard, Dilemma, and Bobby Sox (although this time at the end section like they have been doing after Lyon), and Know Your Enemy, Brain Stew and Good Riddance of course, on top of the two full albums. That said, if I am not mistaken, this concert had a bit of a slower pace than the one in Lyon and was maybe 10 minutes longer? Still very fast passed, still no where near as many hey-ohs as in previous tours, but certainly a bit more than at Lyon. I could be totally wrong though. Bohemian Rhapsody started at exactly 8:30PM, and the show ended at exactly 11PM, it was like Swiss clockwork precision. The airplane got to do the tour of the whole Arena, which was nice. And the stage production was in fully display, which was not the case from some previous shows (Hamburg for instance). I felt Billie a bit more emotional at the end of this concert than at the end of Lyon or Hamburg, At the end of the concert many fans on the floor held up signs with the OEB drawing that said MERCI (thank you), so I don't know if might have been from that.1 point

I had the same impression, Billie (and all the boys) are in fantastic condition and seemed younger, it's not only the hair I guess (although I have become a fan of the blonde, it took a whileđ). Also, I don't know what he did with his voice, but he sounds stunning, better than the last two tours, maybe even the best I've ever heard him since 2010. I think they are in a really good place right now, they have fun and they love it and you can feel that every single minute of the show. I've been to 3 shows so far, 1 still coming up, and this is already one of my (or the?) favorite tour.1 point

Thanks, tâwas a great night. No I mean I was following along, especially on GDC, but they didnât come to Switzerland at the time and for various reasons it was hard for me to travel during 2022; plus the whole album tour cycle was not my favourite, not least a very rigid and unsatisfying setlist. Have to say, it feels really good that I see them now again, promoting an album I really like (they played OEB btw!) Crazy thing is, Billie almost seems younger now, than 7 years ago, madness⊠might be the hair. I think theyâre definitely playing a âreducedâ setlist for festivals. From what I can tell this entails only playing AI in full, though they missed out Extraordinary Girl and only 1-2 deepcuts plus Dookie hits. Add to that a handful Saviours songs (we got TADIKM, LMNB, Dilemma and OEB), Minority, Hitchin a Ride, Brain Stew and Good Riddance, and bobâs your uncle. I have a feeling at proper gigs, theyâll play Dookie and AI in full, like they did in Hamburg most recently. But it was fabulous, Billie actually cracked a bunch of jokes, he seemed to be in a really good mood. Also, they forgot to play When I Come Around, so shortly before the end he goes âoh shit we forgot to play itâ and they play it and Good Riddance right after Canât describe how great it was to hear the likes of In the End, FOD, Give Me Novacaine, Whatsername and fucking Homecoming. Canât complain about Sheâs a Rebel either and the last two times I saw them they didnât play Brain Stew, Welcome To Paradise or WMUWSE either. Good stuff. I think Extraordinary Girl was a deliberate omission from their setlist, for timing reasons.Thatâs a bit sad, but I will be seeing them again in Glasgow, so thatâs fine.1 point

I wondered if that was Billie giving a nod to Dookie, we know his sense of humour đđ1 point

Just to add, it was only 2hr 15 min which is so surprising given the length of the setlist! From experience the French crowd was very different to the Irish! Quieter at the end/ between songs (less cheering and singing) and much more cup throwing resulting in me with a big bruise on my head đ Also in my experience there was way less interaction with the crowd/ hey-oh's which I presumed was to get through the setlist. Also did no one else notice Billie was slightly high pitched at times? I think he was losing his voice, especially evident during Good Riddance. Overall an amazing gig, great sound and definitely the best screens and stage I have seen!! đ1 point

It was hilarious when he said that, the crowd laughed too! By the way, I must say it was a pretty awesome crowd too, everyone enjoying themselves, singing along to every song, lively but not aggressive. So I'm really hoping for a similar experience in Paris đ1 point

I just checked the setlist on setlist fm and saw "All By Myself (orchestral version)" and had to check it out, does not disappoint Wonderful to see Bobby Sox and One Eyed Bastard added! It's understandable considering they're playing two full albums and want to get some new songs in. King for a Day is my favourite but I accept it's fair for them not to play it when they're giving us Dookie and AI in full . Agree it's a really great setlist, can't wait for my show It's a mediocre song on an album but it's fantastic live, guaranteed to get the crowd jumping and always enjoyable plus they can bring a fan up to sing/stage dive.1 point
