  1. 6 years ago today (3 May 2018), The Longshot played in Tijuana, Mexico. More photos: 7 years ago, Green Day played in Adelaide, Australia on the Revolution Radio Tour. I can't believe that tour was 7 years ago, either. More photos: 22 years ago, they played West Valley City, UT, on the Pop Disaster Tour. 31 years ago, they played in Tunbridge Wells, England. That is such a random place for an American band to play. And 32 years ago, they played OK Hotel in Seattle, which is now an apartment block. More photos: Thanks! I'm fine now. If you do ever want to put the pictures from this thread in the fangirls thread, feel free There are lots more on the GDA Tumblr too. https://greendayauthority.tumblr.com/

  5. Such a tragedy the OK Hotel is now apartments. I believe it's also where Nirvana debuted Smells Like Teen Spirit before they officially released it as a single.

  6. So, Dave Hause and his brother, Tim, covered this earlier in the year. I just discovered Dave's music about a year ago and I'm hooked (He's in the vein of Gaslight, Frank Turner, Menzingers, etc) Really neat to hear this song in a different style!

  8. When I first saw this photo I thought "So they were hanging out with Paul Stanley of KISS?" Then I saw it was Criss Angel and I was like "...yeesh"

  9. Correct. And downloading/buying. I could see Bobby Sox coming back for the summer. I could see it being a Pride thing. It did briefly chart when the album came out, but wasn't pushed then.

  11. I knew I'd forget to post eventually... but 22 years ago yesterday (27 April 2002), Green Day played the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA on the Pop Disaster Tour. More photos: And 31 years ago yesterday (27 April 1993), they played in Aviles, Spain. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19 years ago today (28 April 2005), they played the Cumberland Civic Center in Portland, ME. Billie Joe: Have you ever had sex? Kid who got onstage: No. Billie Joe: You will tonight. Video of Basket Case at this show: 22 years ago (28 April 2002), Green Day played in Wheatland, CA on the Pop Disaster Tour. More photos: 30 years ago (28 April 1994), they played in Nijmegen in the Netherlands. And 31 years ago (28 April 1993), they played in Andoain in Spain. Thank you! If anyone is enjoying it, it's worthwhile!

  12. I just watched the documentary "Broadway Idiot" again. It's on youtube. Very interesting insights about the whole production process with the band!
