  7. On this day 7 years ago (30 April 2017), Green Day played in Perth, Australia on the RevRad Tour. More photos: 19 years ago (30 April 2005), the American Idiot Tour came to Amherst, MA. Photo from SmalltownLibraries on Reddit. Credit if reposting. And finally for this month, 26 years ago (30 April 1998) Green Day played Houston, TX on the Nimrod Tour. I combined all of this month's "on this day" Instagram stories into a GDA article. There are some things that haven't been posted yet because I started halfway through April, so it's worth having a look if you're enjoying the Instagram stories. https://www.greendayauthority.com/news/6157/ Also made a reel of them. It goes into a void when I try to post it on Instagram, but it's on the GDA Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/reel/812985026831751

  8. cool action, but I just don't think resellers are the only problem. The band should also care for the high priced tickets their concerts have from the start

  12. Hello, my name is Jon. I am a 28 year old Male and I have a 2 ALMOST 3 year old. He is my entire world. He too is a HUGE Green Day fan, everytime I ask him "What do you want to listen to?" He says, "Green Day!" He loves One Eyed Bastard because he gets to say "son of a bitch!" (Don't judge me, I can raise my kid how I want to. He is very polite and has manners.) It's funny that he thinks a swear word he has to ask permission and whisper but when he's signing to a song, which is Green Day and Kid's music; he BELTS it! I am not TOO artsy but I've been messing around with procreate and I'm having some fun with it. I was just smoking outside and I had a high thought... What if I were to make a Green Day kids book? If anyone has ANY tips on how to get better at childrens art (chibi, not too crazy detailed) I would really appreciate the help! My messages are open... BUT!!! Here's the fun part!! What would I call it? Where would I start? What eras would I cover? I'm thinking an era per page, but what lore should I put in it? There's lots to think of. Thanks in advanced, Jon.

  13. This sounds so fun. So many ways you can go there’s no right answer. Just to throw some thoughts out there you’d first want to consider the target age group so that it’s written with the child’s comprehension and interest in mind. As for art, unless you have art skills, there are so many great artists that are fans out there. See one who does work you like in the right style? Ask them to illustrate your book as a fun project. Now if it was me, (I’m a writer myself) I think it would be cute to do a series, a book for each era, but with cartoon images of Green Day as little kids, but in their iconic looks for each one (Dookie, Nimrod/Warning, AI, etc), each book telling a simple story around being in a band and making music, focusing on friendship and doing what you love. What do you think?
