  3. I knew I'd forget to post eventually... but 22 years ago yesterday (27 April 2002), Green Day played the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA on the Pop Disaster Tour. More photos: And 31 years ago yesterday (27 April 1993), they played in Aviles, Spain. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19 years ago today (28 April 2005), they played the Cumberland Civic Center in Portland, ME. Billie Joe: Have you ever had sex? Kid who got onstage: No. Billie Joe: You will tonight. Video of Basket Case at this show: 22 years ago (28 April 2002), Green Day played in Wheatland, CA on the Pop Disaster Tour. More photos: 30 years ago (28 April 1994), they played in Nijmegen in the Netherlands. And 31 years ago (28 April 1993), they played in Andoain in Spain. Thank you! If anyone is enjoying it, it's worthwhile!

  5. Never heard anything from Saviors on the radio in the UK but I don't really listen to much radio so I probably wouldn't know if they did. Went to see a local production of the musical tonight and TADIKM was playing when I walked in and sounded so good

  7. I wish our radio station would play more Green Day stuff here! I don't pay for any radio stations, but our rock station plays stuff from the 70's and 80's. My radio station rarely plays anything from 90's, 00's, etc. The only Green Day songs I've heard on my radio was When I Come Around and Good Riddance. I truly wish they would play more Green Day. Maybe one day they will surprise me with some Saviors. I don't want to end up like the girl in the beginning of TADIKM music video, though! 😬😄🧟‍♀️.

  9. Well, the Album is 4 months out now and wondered why I haven’t heard one It’s Songs in the Radio yet. So has anyone of you heard any of the Songs in the Radio? (Genre Radio excluded) This Question goes especially to german users but I invite everyone to show how it’s in your Country.

  10. I heard Dilemma on the radio a couple days ago. It was exciting. I'm in the bay area so maybe it's not that surprising

  11. No. Wikipedia lists him simply playing acoustic guitar instead of producing. Fever is definitely FOAM leftover, production makes it clear. Why did Butch play acoustic on Goodnight Adeline, only god knows. Maybe Making of Goodnight Adeline will showcase that?

  12. No, but i haven't listened to the radio in years. I heard it at the listening party and at the same record store on release day and that's the only place I've heard these songs without searching for them myself.

  13. Another #1 across rock radio for our boys. Hopefully this gets some crossover play on top 40 along with maybe Suzie Chapstick/Father To A Son…2 songs I think could have crossover appeal and be released as a single/s before the tour starts…hopefully with Dilemma and TADIKM being successful Saviors can get some Grammy recognition

  20. Six years ago today (26 April 2018), The Longshot played the Redwood Bar in LA. More photos: 23 years ago (26 April 2001), Green Day performed Waiting and Platypus on the Howard Stern show. On the same day (26 April 2001), Green Day also played Waiting on the David Letterman Show. "It's great that we have a pain management doctor in the audience because every time on the show, the drummer – who is unstable – does something strange and hurts himself. The last time he was here, he leapt off the drum platform and hit the deck. We took him to the hospital. For three days, it knocked the wind out of him." – David Letterman 33 years ago (26 April 1991), Green Day drove 37 hours to play in Sioux Falls, SD. "[Adrienne] showed up in Sioux Falls, and then she just grabbed me. And she said, 'Billie Joe?' And I turned around, and I was just – I had to remember what she looked like, because it just didn't register at first. I remembered her voice from the phone. She looked at her friend and goes, 'he doesn't remember me.' I felt like the biggest tool at that second." – Billie Joe
