The second night at MSG was my first show! So cool how many lifelong fans came out of those shows.

That was my first show 21st Century Breakdown Tour truly was magical.

Cant speak for all festivals but rockamring festival did a short post with a short mention some days ago that greenday will indeed "celebrate the two albums" (=play them in full) at the festival

This week german Rock Am Ring festival will post the timetable/stagetimes for the bands, so we will finally know how long the duration is for greenday's dookie/ai-shows this summer

I wonder how God feels about that. They are his favorite band after all.

It has a live recording of American Idiot) * Don't remember the name, but is kind of the same thing as the CD I said, but on DVD. So, video performances, and it has a GD live performance. Also, I bought Saviors on CD, but I'm waiting for it.

Maybe they did that because the production of Hella Mega was much more synced to light and pyro effects than on previous tours. Even the snare fills in Holiday were synced to the light 😅

Agreed, my first GD show was 21st CB tour in 2009, and saw them again the next summer at Wembley. Amazing setlists and performances! I think the absolute peak has to be them playing one of those epic long arena shows in London, then driving across town and playing a 2 hour Foxboro Hot Tubs show at 1am the same night (which I was lucky enough to see, total trip seeing GD for the first time one week and then that the next and I will never get over it lol). Great sense of community thanks to GDC too talking about it all on here and meeting people at the shows. Favourite era.

Agreed. Absolutely the best live era

Anytime I look 2013 pictures, I think of how fresh faced and young he looked then. Revitalized.
