Bumping this up because I was wondering about a trailer. If they release this to coincide with the release of the album it would come out at the end of the Saviors tour. I think it was in the summer near the end of the RevRad tour that they showed the Turn It Around East Bay punk doc trailer on the screens before shows. It would be great if they had a trailer for this new doc and showed it all summer on tour.

I remember NIN did a special in person pre sale event to prevent scalpers. You showed up at the venue to buy tickets. I think I waited for 4 hours. They released remaining tickets online the following week.

The combination of a home town show with the charity organization sponsor told me from the beginning that there would be a large guest and VIP list for this show.

I wonder If because it's a production to be broadcast live that there will be some big wigs there, needed fans to make up the numbers and could be why there weren't many tickets for sale?

If it was live there would be streaming info by now. Maybe they do an edited pro shot and post it online later. Good to know we should get a nice pro shot of this show

That's a great idea. I was thinking if there were tickets available on the day of the event venues could do a lottery a couple of hours before doors like they did for the AI musical each night. That would mean a greater selection of people having a chance to attend.

I mean, Green Day has copied artists before as well. Warning copied Picture Book by the Kinks for example. I don't get why you aren't defending the band that copied GD but defending a band that copied the Kinks (well so am I, but I'm in defense of both bands. Remember, there's so much songs in the world that people are simply reusing other people's songs whether it's intentional or not. No offense though, it's a friendly reminder. I wonder what'd be the verdict. I've heard of like 2 cases where a band is sued by another for plagiarism and the sued band wins. But that might not be enough. I sure need to read into that so I can be sure of my verdict.

Any thoughts on when we might see anything from The Longshot again? I mean it was definitely the best album in the GD world before Saviors and since AI (yes I’m saying that). I was just listening to it in the car and the things I like about it are things I like about Saviors with cleaner guitars. I thought to myself “self? Yeah? What album do you like better LIFl or S?” And I wasn’t sure. I’m still deciding but without Billie neither could be made. I love Kevin playing and I Jeff on Bass and fucking stupidly I’m forgetting drums and Sneider was always there as TM and it was just pure fun I had a nearly full tour where I sure super fans. It was a hype party for some reason. It had that Fancy Sauce. lol, I used it. I think after two more tours really 1 with 2 legs. They chill for a while and he writes one more. One thing became for sure Billie is the nicest man alive and allegiant. The best. So happy I knew back in 1993. I’ve told you guys the very first time I met Mike and Tre at a record store in Tampa at the time where a blue haired Tre was with Mike buying sticks for the rodeo house 500 person venue. Not sold out with an extra 1000 seats. Billie came out buck ass naked. He was so fucked. It was mine blowing. Loved everything they do since. It’s weird, if you watched my playlists you wouldn’t think GD is at the top but they have been the soundtrack of my life regardless of how corny it sounds, certain songs bring me right back to certain women, friends, lovers, times, xtra nights, dreams I thought would never come true. if you understand what I’m saying to you, thanks. And to this forum! If I died who would tell everyone, would anyone care? I love so many people on here. It might because I just watched “her” and it makes it okay to love people differently but some of you I truly think we near life long friends that come and go. If I never was to come back, I love you all, even the ones that think I don’t. Truth is never took you fuckers serious but when I see you guys do altruistic love like the time we raised money for a poor girl in Europe we raised money to get her to some show. Someone stepped in at the end and she got the VIP treatment. I love this place. When you shroom post. 😂

Just watched Billie’s appearance he was so cute. He’s on at about an hour in and gave a brief speech first about the importance of visibility and voting. He did that awkward act he does when he’s reading lines on a prompter at an award show just like when he did the Tonys for the musical, like “okay, this is good, we got this” kind of thing. 😄 Worth a watch Also, is he getting smaller? He’s so thin now with such a narrow frame he looked really tiny up there

Funny this song was just at the top thread today. Somehow this song has risen to the top for me. It’s my favorite song to listen to. It may not be the one I want to hear at shows the most, yet but it, more so than others shows a side of them and B’s writing that hasn’t really been done before and it can take him (and therefore me) into his older age. This is a good car song. Yeah they have a bunch of them like MDP but this one hits that GD spot while staying remaining and chill and while for sure at a show I want to lose my shit, I’m listening to them more at home and driving then while knocking you little people on your arses … This song to me might be the not sure how distant Green Day. Just a thought. It’s also just an awesome old old school song that sounds like Billies favorite breaks and progressions from the 50s and 60s and turn them into whatever he wants (all of the boys, Jason too because he does usually write the solos). Kevin did some ghost writing on this album as well btw.
