  4. Seems odd to me that there are new articles coming out right now talking about Saviors. Why wait so long to do these interviews/articles?

  5. 3 million for 1981 is pretty good considering itโ€™s not even a single yet. I guess it benefits from being listed first after the singles

  6. So it looks like mainstream rock airplay chart is the chart Dilemma most likely has a chance to go #1

  9. Who would have guessed when American Idiot came out in 2004 that Billie's hair would STILL be this fluffy and magnificent 20 years later?

  10. Whoops ๐Ÿ˜…. I checked over the list 100 times and still forgot to put a song. Let me fix that real quick. I love Corvette Summer, just forgot to put it ๐Ÿ˜….

  11. And screw Corvette Summer, right? ๐Ÿ˜„ Adeline and Suzie benifit from being early in the tracklist and also sharing big ballad dna with the biggest hits.

  12. Just a couple months ago I heard Green Day on a Taco Bell commercial. I know that is the normal thing now, but I still think it is weird to hear Green Day in a commercial. It is actually kind of exciting ๐Ÿ˜„.

  13. I would say it is doing well. Take a look at the charts ๐Ÿ‘€. *Got this from GreenBagger28 on reddit* That was a month ago so it is even higher than that! ๐Ÿคฏ.

  14. On YouTube it has 2.9 MILLION views ๐Ÿฅณ. Everything happens so fast!

  15. No, this will likely only be one or maybe two songs at the award show.

  16. Looks like it was just for practicing, but still cool nonetheless that he keeps using that guitar in studio. Hopefully one day we'll get full list of songs recorded with Blue.

  17. Streaming has nothing to do with the Airplay charts, but on the topic of airplay, I heard Dilemma today on SiriusXM Faction Punk channel.

  20. The live mix is gonna be terrible no doubt Funnily enough, say what you will, but the mix for 2012's performance was surprisingly decent, verging on enjoyable even. Though of course, at the time, that would have been the least of anyone's worries... Bad mixing is more often than not a problem with so many award show and even festival broadcasts these days. I think the problem is, with rock having been so absent from the mainstream lately, most producers and mixers still acquainted with the basics of mixing for 4-piece bands will have long gone into retirement and those that replaced them seem more often than more familiar with mixing solo artists with a bunch of backing tracks or, at a minimum, a much less aggressive instrumental/vocal sound. It explains why amazon's music sessions sounded fine for Ed Sheeran or Rihanna, but terrible for Green Day.

  21. I've been wanting to take pics of my latest haul but haven't found the time, but thanks to @Rumpelstiltskin2000 I now have a coveted copy of Billie on the cover of NME! She also gave me an American Idiot playbill ๐Ÿ˜ and i got some amazing longshot prints from @solongfromthestars! I put them all in a frame to hang up in my office. thanks again for the swag!

  23. Is that a Tony Soprano shirt? Billie recently mentioned that James Gandolfini was apparently a GD fan and used to listen to them in his Sopranos dressing room which is cool

  31. Funnily enough, I listened to one of agreed Dudes podcasts today and they were talking about the Pitchfork review which had been down on Mikeโ€™s bass playing and I remembered reading it when came and thinking โ€œwtfโ€ as did the Green Dudes and seeing this was just stunning. The bass through the whole record is great.

  33. Photography gets boring when you do it for a living, but I still get excited about shooting some things and want to show the photos off everywhere, so I'm sharing these here too I loved the 100 Club but the lighting made photography very challenging.

  36. Agreed about the choruses and different melodies. I have this completely stuck in my head today as I did after hearing the debut on the crappy livestream. Honestly everything Billie writes is so catchy. You can hear the smallest part of something he's written and get it stuck in your head for days!

  39. In my subconscious three days ago (which will be posted on Green Day Dreams too!)). I was the Billie Joe of a GD cover band and we performed at my school and it was Geek Stink Breath being played like how Pinhead Gunpowder w/ Billie did in 1994.
