I was just in the kitchen making food and listening to Saviors caterwauling to it all when my daughter came in the kitchen saying she thought there was a drunk British man outside on the street singing. However it wasn't a drunk on the street it was me?

This thread made me think of picking up the guitar again, which made me think of checking out the classes where I learned guitar. They have a Green Day ensemble class starting next week. Class is already full, and being taught by my least favorite teacher, but it makes me happy that so many people signed up. 🙂

Funnily enough, I listened to one of agreed Dudes podcasts today and they were talking about the Pitchfork review which had been down on Mike’s bass playing and I remembered reading it when came and thinking “wtf” as did the Green Dudes and seeing this was just stunning. The bass through the whole record is great.

Yeah but he opens with saying Green Day sold 75 million records and released 14 albums - the joke is that the comparison is absurd because Busted are obviously much less successful and prolific than them. Busted are the butt of the joke not Green Day.

I don’t think it sounded funny but that may be because the presenter guy is shit, which would be the norm for the Brits, and he delivered his lines badly. Busted were a manufactured boy band who were successful in the pre-teen world but if they had just wanted to get people talking , then they achieved their aim.
