Just been listening to Absolute Radio in the UK and they announced they will be interviewing the band in a Soho Hotel on Monday afternoon! Totally taken aback, was not expecting it and doing dull stuff when announcement started so will come back with more details as I hear them! Should have put Monday 13 November in title! So clearly, not going back to US on Saturday then.

I’ve been wondering about this, too. I get that the album release is still a ways out, but they could definitely perform one or both of the singles on a late night show and do some preliminary interviews. Glad we’ll be getting one soon!

I've ultimately decided to sit this tour out, and it was a tough decision as I haven't missed a Green Day show in my area in decades. My wife and I may be moving by the time they come to our area or we might not which complicates things. $75 for nosebleed seats x2 with Ticketb*stard's insane fees ended up being around $200 plus the fact that I'd have to sit through the Smashing Pumpkins and I don't want a cent of my money to go to Billy Corgan. I've had to sit through some insufferable bands to see Green Day many times in the past but none more insufferable than him. No thanks.

Green Day has pissed me off this entire week. Fuck this tour. This album better be amazing.

While they’ll always do small secret shows, I think as they get older, if they could possibly fill stadiums, they’ll continue to do stadium shows because it allows them to play for more people with fewer shows per tour. I just don’t see them going back to 100 shows a year anymore

When you're watching an MTV VMAs compilation and two seconds in you correctly identify the 2005 VMAs based on the water fountain because it makes you think of the photo shoot Green Day did for the awards where they were all wet. Needless to say, my bf was confused and impressed by my talent (This is the best version of the picture I could find - Green Day in the top left corner)

I’m with you. Holding out hope for an LA club show, but not paying these exorbitant prices for the Sofi show. As far as Corgan is concerned, guy is by all accounts a world class asshole. And as much as I like Siamese Dream and (some) of Melon Collie, they haven’t been good since the mid 90s imo.

WOO! My brother just won tickets for the show in Cincy! I'm sure the seats are back a bit, but not having to pay for these tickets is a big win and helps offset what I'm paying for Pittsburgh.

TADIKM all went #1 on some type of chart so we got consistency and most likely more number ones…looking at you father to son

IMO best songs are: TTMAC, Sugar Youth, Graffitia. Worst: Fire, Ready Aim and Foamf, Oh Yeah.

I think you can normally listen back to interviews on-line. You know on the Absolute Radio app thing (sorry really great explanation, hope you know what I mean!)

It's not being bitter it's the truth. It's fucking ridiculous. Only reason Green Day fans got assed out this tour is cause of the lame co-headlining crap. Hella Mega was the same. Same reason I'm sitting this one out. Seems like most of the pit tickets in SF were saved for the VIP bs. Only sanely priced tickets are in nosebleeds. It's awful. What blows the most is the whole tour will be like this. 😒 It's a damn shame.

I think that father of all is a killer song and really showcases Billies voice that he can sing his ass off. The only song on here I did not care for was teenage teenager

$246 after fees ($191 before) for GA PIT (NON VIP) in Portland.... stupid presales. Not an ideal price at all, but, I'll take it. (IIRC, I actually paid upwards of this for pit tickets to Pop Disaster.) *SIGH* FUCK, I can breathe again! I'm going to see the boys for the first time since the RevRad stop in Houston in 2017. From '95-'17, I was in the pit at every Houston gig. Then, I lost everything in Hurricane Harvey and now live in Portland. My life has been through the ringer over the last 6 years and this shit is gonna get cathartic. This will be my first time to see them in my new hometown. I'm stoked! I hope everyone else that's chasing today gets the tickets they want.

Alright, hear me out. And I know I'm derailing the topic, but whatever. I don't like FOAMF. At all. For the most part, pretty much everything about it is wank, sadly. BUT, Teenage Teenager isn't the worst song on the record. The lyrics are absolutely TERRIBLE, but the Weezer-esque choruses are catchy AF. The buildup harmonies in the last chorus are great. If I listen to this record (barely ever) I find myself pretty much only listening to this, Sugar Youth and Graffitia. On the whole, in GD's vast discography, it's right down the bottom... but it's not their worst song.

Just glad the guys seem passionate about their new music. Playing the new songs a lot and Billie even posted on IG an acoustic LMNB. They seem passionate and genuinely excited unlike FOAM or even RevRad.

I think we are possibly making life hard for ourselves as fans, we shouldn’t all be sitting in waiting rooms to buy tickets all at once, we are giving ourselves stress and driving the prices up! Having said that, it’s exciting when you get them, “one small step for mankind” 😂😂 Yep, but you have to let that go, cover bands charge that nowadays!

They did this last year too! Two gigs in England, then I flew to Dublin for the next one, then back to Glasgow 😂 I’m not getting tickets to this one just yet, I’m undecided. If there are tickets nearer the time I’ll take it as a sign!

Got seated tickets. Not at 10 as when they said presages started but an hour later a whole ton of good seats/pit tickets opened up. So very happy.

I'm going to this show kinda wish they were doing Dublin first, then the UK shows. Instead I have to fly over for this gig, back home for Dublin two days later and then fly to London for Wembley 🙄 A week's holidays from work...... the things I do for this band 😂
