WOO! My brother just won tickets for the show in Cincy! I'm sure the seats are back a bit, but not having to pay for these tickets is a big win and helps offset what I'm paying for Pittsburgh.9 points

I tried one last thing How dare they say on their instagram that we can find ticket for $35 lol7 points

My thoughts on ticket-buying for this tour: "Before it might have made some sense, but now it's all fucked up."7 points

Starting to resign myself to the fact that I’m not getting pit tickets. This whole process sucks so much. GD should be ashamed that they have fucked over such a large portion of their fanbase like this.6 points

He’s been sober again since the end of the Hella Mega Europe tour (August 2022) (The songs for Saviors would have been written during his five year off the wagon period from 2018-2022)6 points

$246 after fees ($191 before) for GA PIT (NON VIP) in Portland.... stupid presales. Not an ideal price at all, but, I'll take it. (IIRC, I actually paid upwards of this for pit tickets to Pop Disaster.) *SIGH* FUCK, I can breathe again! I'm going to see the boys for the first time since the RevRad stop in Houston in 2017. From '95-'17, I was in the pit at every Houston gig. Then, I lost everything in Hurricane Harvey and now live in Portland. My life has been through the ringer over the last 6 years and this shit is gonna get cathartic. This will be my first time to see them in my new hometown. I'm stoked! I hope everyone else that's chasing today gets the tickets they want.5 points

Alright, hear me out. And I know I'm derailing the topic, but whatever. I don't like FOAMF. At all. For the most part, pretty much everything about it is wank, sadly. BUT, Teenage Teenager isn't the worst song on the record. The lyrics are absolutely TERRIBLE, but the Weezer-esque choruses are catchy AF. The buildup harmonies in the last chorus are great. If I listen to this record (barely ever) I find myself pretty much only listening to this, Sugar Youth and Graffitia. On the whole, in GD's vast discography, it's right down the bottom... but it's not their worst song.5 points

Hey, I would've done the same thing as you if I had one in my cart, so don't feel bad! I'm sure this show was also in demand being on a holiday weekend which was working against me. But yeah, it doesn't feel right at all. I hope those expensive VIP tickets all sit there unsold and they lose money/the tour sucks ... I don't care if that makes me a bitter asshole. I'm sick of this co-headlining BS.5 points

Tomorrow is my birthday. It would be great to get pit tickets. Here’s hoping a fourth try will do it! 😂5 points

Just been listening to Absolute Radio in the UK and they announced they will be interviewing the band in a Soho Hotel on Monday afternoon! Totally taken aback, was not expecting it and doing dull stuff when announcement started so will come back with more details as I hear them! Should have put Monday 13 November in title! So clearly, not going back to US on Saturday then.4 points

Just glad the guys seem passionate about their new music. Playing the new songs a lot and Billie even posted on IG an acoustic LMNB. They seem passionate and genuinely excited unlike FOAM or even RevRad.4 points

Oh my God I never noticed the crowd cheer in I Was A Teenage Teenager! I actually like that song a lot, though 🤷♂️ As far as the new album, I feel like OEB would work really well for a hockey team after they score a goal. If people sang along to Chelsea Dagger by The Fratellis imagine an arena all going "Bada Bing Bada Bing Bada Booooooom" after a goal.4 points

During the pre-sale yesterday I caved and got a pit ticket for San Francisco. Paid $600 for the "Boulevard of VIP". That was one of the cheaper VIP packages. The next one up was $700 before fees and $833 including fees. So crazy! It will be worth it though. Hope to see some of you there4 points

My take on FOAM is that it was time for them to put out another Green Day album, but they weren’t yet in the mood to be Green Day again. We know they like to experiment with different personas and sounds in their downtime, and that’s what this felt like to me…they made a decidedly un-Green Day kind of album because they weren’t back in the Green Day mindset. I don’t believe they’d ever put out an album they didn’t genuinely stand behind, because they take pride in their work. But I do think, just based on the cover art and some of the interviews surrounding it, that they felt a bit salty about having to step back into Green Day mode perhaps before they were ready. Personally, I think this album would be fine as a side project but just wasn’t up to standard as a Green Day album. I also was very put off by the too-unironic-for-comfort “sex, drugs, and rock n roll” theme. That’s not this band’s identity to me at all.4 points

The ones that are based solely on airplay, yes it's likely. Green Day has consistently performed well on those types of charts and I don't think that's going to be any different with TADIKM. Later singles like LMNB or whatever they release next may not The ones that are based on not just airplay but stuff like streams, digital sales etc. very unlikely3 points
-
Yeah, to help people who are not hearing it: it's BEFORE Mike's harmonies. The crowd starts cheering just as Billie starts singing the chorus.3 points
-
Yeah I was wondering what the tour cycle would do, but he has looked so clear and happy which is great so either way life is working for him right now3 points

See, all of this is why I will wait until a few months before the show and scout to see if there are reasonable pit ticket prices and sell the ticket I currently have (for the price I bought it for, of course, because I'm not a piece of absolute garbage ). I believe you may be right. I think next time I will wait for the general public sale because fuck it. Doesn't even make a difference anymore.3 points

Still debating just biting the bullet and buying $478 (with fees) VIP pit ticket, or just waiting til day of when most likely, they'll be cheaper than the $229 they're supposed to be. It's the most likely part that gets me. Guaranteed tickets by spending way too much, but not having the stress of worrying the next 9 months, or crossing my fingers and hopefully saving a lot of money, but maybe not winding up with pit tickets.2 points

They definitely made some changes. In the first RAK teaser, Billie can be heard going “Woah woah!” But in the single, that backing vocal is nowhere to be found. I just can’t wait to hear the story about the entire recording process. I’m just surprised Mike didn’t mention anything about 1972 in his podcast interview2 points

Cubs site is absolute trash. Managed to cart two pit tickets initially, then when I went to check out, made me log in again and said all my information was missing. Now showing pit sold out2 points

Green Day has pissed me off this entire week. Fuck this tour. This album better be amazing.2 points

Awesome!!! Good luck to all who are waiting for the general sale to drop in 4 mins!!!! OK.... so basically the presale saved me $300 I didn't see even a single non-VIP pit ticket pop up for the show I'm going to, it was the same story of cheapest available being the almost $500/apiece VIP packages. I guess I'm glad I did the presale and was able to buy using the most base-level VIP package?? I'm still salty as fuck though.2 points

Lmfao we had an insider (Sanity Loan) less than a week ago say he heard the song Saviors was "very very good." And now we got this guy from billboard italy saying its the only unremarkable song. Well which is it?2 points

The cubs site is so broken. I'm just trying to see how much one ticket would be with fees and I keep running into errors before the site crashes on me. Wait...what fucking universe is Green Day in? $35 fucking where? Chicago nosebleeds are 129 guys.1 point
