You keep posting as if playing new songs live is some crazy rare thing that bands do and that it's always difficult or something. It's not. It's something musicians do constantly and someone like Billie or Green Day is gonna be just fine playing a new song. Just because one time he had technical issues doesn't mean it's some huge risk every time a new song is played. 😆

How does that make it ok to body shame someone (and inaccurately so for that matter)? Eh, I'd be fine with 3 singles. Especially if the album is coming as early as February. I don't like how nowadays when an album drops most of its songs have already been released as singles.

I've had this secret, but I've just got to tell someone. Coz I know I can trust you not to tell anyone. Time travel is possible. In fact only the other day I travelled 6 months into the future. I know when the album is released, it's title, artwork, number of tracks and tract titles. Even some early tour dates. And I know who The Network really is or is it are. Unfortunately, when you travel back in time to the current date, you forget everything you learnt. I can't remember anything. It's very frustrating, 😕

By the release date, we will have heard the whole thing. There are 24½ tracks with a hidden song that plays an hour into the last one. They have access to secret government technology that allows them to hide the track even in the digital age. Speaking of the digital age, we are getting not one, but TWO new Network records. This time they're branching out into glam rock & old school death metal with little hints of hyperpop here and there. Onward to victory!

Here's hoping I think that would be the best way to approach it people have short attention spans now days and probably would be disappointed by having to wait four months after a single releases I would rather get the bulk in one surprise release rather than a song here there like the last time with foam

Maybe Green Day will take the blink approach and release a new single almost every week until album release.

I wanted to know what to expect so I watched the first episode of this season. They interviewed one of the Foo Fighters from LDL (same festival as the Green Day interview) and they aired less than five minutes. I was hoping for more because it’s an hour show and we’re so starved for interviews but to manage our expectations this will likely be a 3-4 minute feature.

For all we know, the new song could be a big mega hit by then!!!

I think 1981 having a proper vocal melody will make a pretty huge difference. There's also some pretty cool backing vocals in the chorus that are barely audible in the live version which I think will elevate it a lot (i.e it's not totally just one line repeated).

They haven't had any albums after 21st Century Breakdown according to their setlist. Just been steady working on American Dream for the last 12 years.

Due to the first verse, “She’s throwing punches to the beat to the sound of cable TV and she’ll never see the world the same.”, I think the song is referring to MTV, which premiered in 1981

JAR has been confirmed to be from the Dookie sessions for a while. i’m not sure why it was cut from the tracklist, the song fits the album It should be but as others say in its uncut form. I didnt like the interviews being in the “play all”. I want to press play all and watch the concert. We need C&V as well to be included in some form.

They haven't done this in over 10 years. They did no such thing for either RevRad or for FOAM. The last time they came close was in 2011, when the debuted a lot of the trilogy songs at Tiki Bar.
