Since there was this "so much more to come line" I'm hopeful that we'll get something else besides the new record next year. I'm reeeeeeally hoping for a release of one, preferably several American Idiot tour recordings. It seems weird not to re-release Bullet in a bible (audio) in full, as in, both nights, on CD and/or vinyl. But I'm hopeful we might get some other show too, where they played AI in full - say the Music Box at the Fonda show.

Imagine if they dropped full live performances from all the different countries they played in during the 21st CB era (or the trilogy) 👀 Then we're talking!

They have a lot more to choose in an eventual AI 20th anniversary, but if they would use ready-to-sell material, Irving Plaza 2004 would be my first pick. The demos and outtakes are far more interesting, thinking that John Roecker has some of them, Peter Reto did mention they tracked also the preproduction, where the songs could be very different. Yeah, Cigarettes and Valentines could be there as well. If they are ready to do it, then we are really on a treat. Warning 25th can be doable too. These Japanese shows would be fire!

I genuinely believe any AI anniversary set will be pushed back to the 25th. We want it all and we want it now, but doing all this in the span of a year would be overwhelming for fans and their bank accounts

The alternate Basket Case demo is exactly what I love for anniversary additions! Songs locked in "the vault" that we finally get to hear. I really have no interest in live stuff because I've seen them live numerous times, and we can find TONS of live stuff on YouTube. I also already own the Woodstock record and have seen/heard that set so many times over the last thirty years. So, demos and alternate versions are what make sets like this fascinating! I think the vinyl box set is quite expensive, though it is coming with a lot of stuff. I hope the book is filled with interesting content. I see that we're getting an essay from Rob — which is awesome — but I hope we also get retrospectives from the guys and all parties involved. Throw in some retro news articles and press pieces. (I found the Nimrod book a little lackluster). Finally, I wish that the vinyl version came with a digital download code! I have purchased a lot of box sets over the years and think that the most interesting ones have been: the Beatles sets, especially the White Album and Revolver, Smashing Pumpkins Mellon Collie..., and The Beach Boys SMiLE Sessions. That latter set is the coolest of all the sets I've seen. It came with two records, two 45s, five CDs, two books, and a poster, all housed in a diorama package. And when it first came out in 2012, it only cost 149.96!

Brandon Flowers critisized Green Day for being anti-American. Now, he is under scrutiny from Georgia for bringing a Russian person on stage. I am completely baffled by this. Even if your country is at war with another country, your enemy is still human. Like it or not, every human being that ever existed is your blood relation. Dude was at a concert with the crowd, he clearly didn't have a problem being there. So what is the problem? If I was at a show and they brought up a person from the middle east or Russia or China....I wouldn't boo. I just don't understand.
