I really don’t see that this told us much, she said “everything is very disclosed”, does she even understand the words she is using? Seems like attention seeking “influencer” nonsense to me. Billie Joe has posted on IG of him clearly at home with the dogs so, unless that’s old, it may have been a really quick visit and they were almost done by the time these girls me them.

Stop, Drop and Roll has music fans that don’t even like Green Day. I don’t mean that in a negative way. It’s just such a superior album that transcends genres and super picky music fans. Foxboro Hot Tubs is amazing and the song writing is fantastic. Stop, Drop and Roll can stand on its own. It could be iconic even though it’s pretty much a secret in the mainstream. Sorry! Back to the thread topic! The Trilogy is amazing!

Billie, Mike and Tre together in LA has to be Green Day work, maybe starting some promotional stuff. If there’s a tour and album early next year they have to announce and promote it by the fall you’d think. As for any secret show in Oakland, if it’s what I suspect it to be (if related at all) then it won’t be FBHT

I think it's a shame that every time they've tried to incorporate FBHT sound into Green Day that it's not been very well received. Like, even though I like the trilogy a lot, including Dos, and I think some of the Foxboro sounding moments of FOAMF work quite well (most notably Stab You in the Heart), I get why these sounds haven't been as well received as SD&R. It's just a shame a lot of those naysayers of the trilogy probably won't hear the superior SD&R which does this sound perfectly

Wholeheartedly agree. They used to be innovators and very arty when it came to record art. Now it’s just very meh and throw away. Sad really. Hopefully they sort it out for this record. Artwork for 21cb was piss cringe. Tribal flames, like something you’d see on a Staind record.

Someone on here said a song takes 2 days to mix and master. How would they pump out a side project so quickly if they just started recording yesterday?

Best case scenario they debut side project songs Friday at Golden Bull. If they’re just recording the side project now it won’t be ready for quite a while.

Something interesting was said: they are recording "their new music" all day, even at night, in a studio in West Hollywood, the girl seemed pretty sure about it (Here's the video). So what I'm wondering is: if, as it has already been said, they have already finished recording the album, are they now recording for this side project? Can you give us any hint?

Has there ever been a time when you didn't feel like an announcement was coming soon? If there's a side project coming, that's cool. I just don't see why they'd pick now to do a side project. I don't see them doing FBHT in 2023, it just wouldn't make sense to me for them to release something like that not under the Green Day label. Like they've already released a lot of Foxboro type music under Green Day, including parts of FOAMF, why would they go back to doing that as FBHT?

Surely Demolicious, by it’s very name and the fact some songs clearly have unfinished lyrics, was recorded before the Trilogy and was the demos for the Trilogy, regardless of it’s release date?
