But to be back on studio recording/mixing wasn't one of my assumptions. It's been almost a year since the last real teaser... I am start fearing for this album. i hope it fills all the expectations

They run a pretty tight ship so it's always weird to hear about stuff like that. It's a bummer they cant just release MORE music, even if it's The Network/Foxboro Hot Tubs-esque projects or EPs or whatever. They're obviously active and making plenty of music.

Maybe they are reimagined covers.

I hear the Sum 41 in it too. I was literally just thinking this when I was reading back to see what people thought. It's like that friend you take to the movie theater and no matter what movie you see they're a critic of it.

- Ok, so I thought I found something, but of the risk of making a complete fool out of myself for not paying attention, There's a song called "Happiness is for dummies" that's listed in the SESAC database with a higher number than OYB under GD's catalogue But after closer look it seems that GD wrote (?) a song for Ryan Jillian Santiago (Royal & the Serpent) for a single called "Happines 4 dummies" Even though I can't find any link between them when searching the interwebs. Thought it was something but it's clearly not.
