He scrolls through the threads - the 1972 anticipation thread now has over 30,000 pages, generations of fans have lived and died posting wilder and wilder guesses. GreenDayFan is still optimistic and expects the album to drop any day now. Little Boy Named Train is still the king of the Cocktail Thread, except now he’s a grandfather. The Fangirl Thread is still going strong too. BJA smiles and his decrepit hand keeps scrolling. He’s almost hopeful but, alas, his mortal enemy is still around. Beerjeezus. With his heretic username and crappy shitposts. BJA refuses to release the new album for as long as his worst fan stays around. He’s been waiting with the only copy of album 14 hidden under his bed since 2021 and he’s not going to give up now. At this point, it’s keeping him alive.

Absolutely, lets stick with the facts, and what's officially announced, from a reliable source. And these are the facts as we know it:- Jan 10/23 – New info from a close band source: despite the 1972 name teases, album 14 does not have a title yet and they are still “in the middle” of working on the new record. Feb 28/23 – Chris Lorde-Alge who mixed Nimrod, American Idiot, 21st Century Breakdown and Uno/Dos/Tre, has posted two pictures from the studio featuring Green Day in the past couple of days. In the first photo, he can be seen giving Billie Joe a Les Paul guitar for his birthday. In the second photo, Chris is posing with Mike and Tre while Album 14 producer Rob Cavallo sits on the chair in the background. May 2/23 – In an interview with Solid State Logic, producer Rob Cavallo indicated the new Green Day album will be released early next year. There was some thought that the interview was old and Cavallo was talking about 2023, but it's confirmed with a band source that the new album is in fact scheduled for release in 2024. So, from this we KNOW album 14 will be released in 2024, as always, a single will precede it, and also as we know, a tour to promote it will follow.

Don't bother, you'll just get a warning for ''supporting statutory rape''. There's a thread about a certain band on this forum which in the last couple of months contained no posts about their music, but rather has one specific member posting 15 posts in a row on a page, actively trying to cancel and destroy the band by all means (contacting supporting bands and venues who book them 😶). And they're actually really proud of it. Considering that's pretty much the only thread they're posting in, especially since we're on a Green Day forum, it's absolutely bizarre. For some reason that's allowed in here, but criticizing Britt is a sin. I mean sure, hate the band, they're slimeballs anyway, but if you've dedicated your life to this, be consistent then, and don't have anything to do with their connections, including bands associated with them, which includes Green Day, and get the f off this forum.

Yeah absolutely nothing's confirmed. I just got confused when people were like "we know the lead single is gonna be called Saviors. The mods said so" when that's literally just not at all true. Does the G in GDC stand for gaslighting?

Has anyone even confirmed that Saviors is the name of a track? For all we know, it's the name of the album or something

I still believe we’ll be getting a single (at least) and before the year ends, so that’s still something to look forward to. I’ve been pretty much just reading the thread lately and browsing, so don’t mind me and if I’m missing something. 😂
