I stumbled upon this by accident. Seems like Krist Novoselic wrote an article on 21CB when it came out. Pretty cool https://www.seattleweekly.com/news/krist-novoselics-column-runs-every-tuesday-on-the-daily-weekly-coming-off-their/
It's seems like Crush has a new pattern to promote new releases.
Miley Cyrus and Fall Out Boy started teasing in December with a single in January and the album coming in March.
he doesn't mixed most of foam, though he mixed a lot of stuff in the past few years, like longshot, no fun mondays and some other songs. I don't think he is a great mixer
Have these versions ever leaked in full? Love the orchestra in the mix, and Letterbomb which is in a totally different key (B instead of E). I would love to get my hands on full versions of these!
I feel like this would be a good time to bang out a Tubbies record while we embrace for the cold, bitter wait until Album 14.
Green Day albums may take 4 years to record but the Tubbies?
One night is all they need.
I think that even people without any musical or mixing knowledge can put a Chris Dugan's mix and a Chris Lord Alge's mix one next to each other and notice a galaxy of difference..
That’s what I thought, but I’ve also been thinking maybe they’re using different mixers for different songs. It’s fairly common and I don’t think that’s something Green Day has done before, pretty sure all of their albums have been mixed by one person. Who knows though, this lead up to the next album is wild 😂
Yeah but they were teasing us last year as they were hard at work. When they put out that teaser with CLA, that gave us the impression that recording was done and CLA was mixing it
Is this maybe a positive sign? Assuming the new album would need to have been released before this event.
Then your previous suggested release timescale would be, announcement, single(s), album out, April to June?
I wonder how much stronger FOAM would’ve been with more songs on the album.

What do you guys think?
Agreed! I really liked the new Network album, but even I have to admit about half of it is filler. It's strange how one album is too short and the other is too long.

I don't know if it's time to open a new topic, so I wrote it here :)
When you're walking along the street and you pretend that you're in the WICA/BOBD/Walking Contradiction music video.
When you have your first driving lesson and the only thing going through your mind is the Holiday music video.
When you're writing the name 'Billy' and you forget it can be spelled with a Y.
When you google Green Day twice per hour just to see if anything has happened.
When you physically can't get out of bed until someone plays a Green Day song downstairs, and then you have to get up to go and listen to it.
