Just listened and really love it, sounds great, Billie’s voice is just beautiful. It’s a song I love, I too am an Elvis Costello fan from way back, not as fervent as @pacejunkie punk though. 😀 The performance he did with Elvis though is burned in my brain, sorry to say because looked completely stunning AND sounded great. The video makes me hope for great stuff in the Nimrod booklet! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

So got bought a gift box of Oakland Coffee as part of my Christmas present. It was wildly expensive as postage was almost as much again but omg it’s so good. It’s Father of all dark roast which worried me as I can find American coffee undrinkable but this so good, it’s so smooth it’s just amazing. Could be a very bad habit I just picked up!

I’m hoping it ends up being another rock opera too!!!

Alison is one of my favorite songs of all time. He did the cover pretty damn well, not as good as the live version with Elvis Costello though. Only thing that bothers me in this one is the exclusion and changing of a few words from the first verse. It throws off the flow a bit. Solid cover and better quality than expected!

Well, the official version is indeed that acoustic version. Looking forward to hopefully hearing that full band version sometime!

He said Chew we're not impressed. The difference between these demos and the Demolicious shows how strong Green Day have become at making near-complete songs before demoing them. I don't know what frustrates me more, a half baked version of one of the best songs ever or a demo that sounds exactly like the final product. I guess I want Green Day to complete songs before I hear them, but also not take until 2025 to release an album. Chew.

Me and my gf have been buying Father of all Dark Roast to each other for christmas the last years, it's really good! We've also been stacking up 3 coffe mugs which is really nice. We also bought a few pairs of ceramic coaster on request to the shop, it was put out in the store for us and after ordering they were removed again. Really good experience shopping from the Oakland Coffee store!

At this point i'm not tripping on the release of the new album. It'll come when its ready, besides for most of us we have more then enough material to keep us busy. I highly doubt the album will not drop before this year is out.

Announcement on Billie’s birthday in February? As I said, I think we recently got some kind of inside information that they were in the process of booking venues. And remember what Billie said at the end of the Asbury Park, NJ show, “It’s going to be a long time until next summer!”

I was thinking that too. Maybe not a year in advance like Hella Mega tickets but surely if they’re touring this summer they have to announce ticket sales by March?

Considering Bill Schneider is on vacation (per his Instagram), they're likely not recording at the moment. Not that he has to be there for recording, but from the all stuff we've seen so far, he has been.
