Well in the last couple of years you mentioned they did bother to release Money Money 2020 part2, Welcome To My Panic, and BBC Sessions. I wouldn't call that random crap. It's still a lot of fun being a Green Day fan.

Plus You Irritate Me, which is technically a new single, and the upcoming Nimrod anniversary set

No Fun Mondays and the Longshot were great. I wish Green Day was more like that. Seems like these last couple of years Green Day just puts out random crap thrown at the wall to see what sticks when they even bother to do anything at all. It seems so unorganized with a lack of passion. Usually at the darkest they do something amazing but it seems this is the longest tease with nothing to show for it. It used to be a lot more fun being a Green Day fan.

They did put out Pollyanna last year to celebrate life slowly getting back to normal amid the pandemic

It makes sense!! Because the way Billie sings falsetto in the title track almost makes it sound like a Fall Out Boy song and I Was a Teenage Teenager, like I said, sounds like a Weezer song!!!

I don't think it was thrown together I do however think it was made only to compliment the hella mega tour announcement. Not the actual tour just the fuckin announcement. I feel like crush put some pressure on them to make it but that's just my own little game theory

This proves that FOAM was just a collection of fun songs they threw together to satisfy their Warner contract.

Maybe, but I've followed this band I love so much for over 30 years, I'd be gobsmacked if what has happened so far was all planned. A band that in the '90's paid for half the ticket prices at live shows so the fans could afford to go. When there's been incidents at live events the band stops the show to make sure everyone's ok. I just can't believe they'd piss the fans off like this. I know I've said it before, but some outside influence must have fucked up their schedule. Could be anything. However, I accept, when Billie Joe updated us to say the album would likely be released in 2023, I know he didn't have to, but it would have helped for him to clarify the reason.

I think he was drinking a cup of coffee with foam on top 😆 Actually I just remembered, the night before the single came out, Billie posted pic of a cup of coffee with the quote, “I woke up to a message of love!” Which turned out to be the opening lyric!!!

Maybe we get Whammed harder in the UK. I'd probably like that Jimmy Eat World cover if I'd never heard the Wham version, but I've worked at a supermarket at Christmas and that tells you all you need to know about my relationship with Wham. Xmas TIme of the Year is perfectly OK, but I might punch something if I heard it over and over, every year. I used to like All I Want for Christmas but yeah, retail at Christmas. I do like these versions of Green Day songs though.

Soon It will be almost a year since Green day started giving us hints about a new album. Till now we got no proper announcements, no release date, no news for a single.. WTF dudes, who TF does this? Maybe the project they were working on got stolen and they're making another one from scratch? This has got to be the only reason

Metallica just announced a new album, a new tour and released the first single... Out of nowhere!!! The new tour will have two shows in each city, with two different sets every night... Imagine our beloved Green Day doing the same... And oldschool night and an America Idiot onwards night... I just love Metallica way of doing things
