  1. I think 1972 gonna be the biggest story ever. Old characters will come back stronger than ever. iViva la Christian! and Gloria Inferno will open the record. Jimmy will play a game of chicken and meet Amanda at the Whispering Wall. Finally Z-Kid is going to meet the Judge's Son and realise he's a son of a gun. In the end Scotty still doesn't know. (oops wrong universe) Damn @That Dude took over my mind in this one.

  2. At this point I have no desire to critique any new Green Day music. I'm either going to enjoy it or it won't affect me.

  5. 1972 is never going to live up to the expectations green day fans have set forth for it. Sad fact I think from the trilogy onward, one could argue green day hasn't been a quality OR quantity band

  9. Yeah I don’t know if it had anything to do with how the film did it was just a little indy film and he got good reviews. I was hoping he’d do more but it may have been more a question of what else was being offered, finding the right project and having the time.

  14. As an amazing quality musician, and singer songwriter, Billie Joe has always been a natural entertainer, always expressed at live shows. I think that came across in his acting role in Ordinary World. The film wasn't well received by the critics, but Frank Scheck of The Hollywood Reporter after its release called it "raggedly enjoyable thanks to the unexpected charms of its leading man." I really liked the film, a lighthearted story with a happy ending, it was fun, cool. Yes, I think he would excel as an actor if he wanted to go down that road sometime in the future.

  17. 1 Time Machine. 9 band members. 7 continents. 2 chances to save the world. Between Green Day and the Network, there are 9 different dudes, I'm sure.

  21. Not really a Green Day news, but Apple Music just introduced a new karaoke mode, and as far as I can see most of Green Day’s catalogue is compatible with it. It even works with some of the live songs like the latest Nimrod release, which is pretty fucking cool. Overall it’s quite well done and it’s fun to remove vocals even to just get instrumental versions of the songs, have fun 🙃 Edit: it works with ALL the live records, fucking nice
