Green Day - Alison (Acoustic) Billie Joe solo electric version. Branded as "Acoustic" on the 7" I can upload raw files to Mega tomorrow. The vinyl as you can probably tell, is so noisy and lofi that it's just hard to listen to without some EQ and filtering applied. It is what it is. The full band version...that side of the vinyl skips like hell. I'll take some more time to edit it but it won't be clean. It's probably pertinent to wait another month or so for the formal release (hopefully they are the same version).

I'm thinking 39 minutes and 12 seconds of pure, unadulterated suckage. Hey, that's a good album title! You guys ever NOT react to something on here in fear that it could take away from your own gains in the Leaderboard? Yeah, me either.

If I remember correctly… they said in an interview that once they went in to record dookie they wanted to start off with something familiar since it was their first time in a big recording studio. they loved the song and how it sounded on the Marshall amp so they kept it They also re-recorded 409 in your coffee maker for dookie but decided not to put it on the album

I guess it’s the people that usually buy from this brand and like Green Day. It’s expensive shit, but that’s kinda normal for a fancy fashion brand. If enough profit goes to the creatives that designed it, and the production line has some good ethical standards in terms of worker rights, material sourcing, etc. that’s unfortunately a reasonable and normal price. What is for sure unethical is all the 5$ clothing which is sold at that price thanks to labour and environmental exploitation. And what is unethical is people getting paid shit wages so that they can only afford shit clothing. But it’s all good, let’s enjoy capitalism.

I used to have a burned cd with random songs that were unreleased or rare (whatever term is best😅) Songs like Minnesota Girl, The Things I Heard Today, Life During Wartime and a handful of others. Back in 2005 here on the site there were song lists which had included them, I've looked through the current site but if I missed a section let me know :) The songs I'm looking for would have been released around 2005 and earlier. Let me know if any songs seem to fit or if you've got a recommendation :) I've got Look for Love already as well :)

It makes sense that they wouldn’t post any teasers until after the Nimrod 25th Anniversary is over. Any 1972 news would overshadow the excitement for Nimrod and I think that’s something they really want people to be excited for. Green Day finally seems to be “looking back” for the first time and I’m here for it 👍

Why are they idiots for not releasing an album that clearly wouldn't have been ready. You can be critical of the fact that they've been teasing for too long, I'd agree with that but telling them to release an album just to coincide with some random anniversary is just a bad idea that results in products being rushed and incomplete

@Redundantuserjinxboy's post about 8th Avenue Serenade, made me think about that it's just past 10 years since the Trilogy release. Have they matured with age? Ain't played them for while so just listened to all 3 again. I believe due to Billie Joe's illness their release wasn't promoted as much as usual? Which affected sales. Or not received as well? Overall underrated. For me Tre and Uno still have the wow factor, with Dos not quite so, maybe not sure. And certainly warranted the accompanying album Demolicious with some amazing demo alternatives.
