  5. Oh man, I hope this gets released some day. I haven't been a huge fan of Atmos mixes, especially for rock, but I'd really want to hear it.

  6. Respect, a really cool list. I'm sure album position numbers will vary from each GD fan for many individual reasons, maybe emotional vs quality, which is cool. As I've said before, for emotional reasons, I'd have to promote Kerplunk to first please, as the album's release started my GD journey. 39/Smooth second. I'd promote Insomniac also behind Warning. It's so difficult ranking GD coz they are so good, always.

  7. I also really like the Nimrod era. The photoshoots are iconic, their style was on point, and I love how Billie looks in the music videos. (Yes even Good Riddance, even tho he hurt his mouth the day before) I also love how they look during Warning era, especially how Billie looked in the Waiting music video, with the denim jacket. There are some polaroids that were taken on the set of him that are some of my all-time fave pics of his. Also, honestly, this transitional/pre-1972 Era. They all look great but again, Billie looks amazing. So glad he's finally embracing his natural salt and pepper hair now.

  15. Bold of you to try to sleep through JOS and Take Back. I remember when I first made my playlist, WMUWSE and JOS were the first 2 songs I added. I started falling asleep near the end of WMUWSE, like literally was almost out of it when 'I'M THE SON OF RAGE AND LOVE' blasted me awake, it was terrifying.

  17. Good point actually I forgot about the vest - but could still be more to it than just 1972? Like maybe a subtitle that they haven't revealed yet. Or 1972 is just a very consistent theme/something that's repeated a lot throughout the album, a la 'Class of 13'?

  18. For me, without going to much into fangirl territory, I really have a thing for Billie’s look during 21St BD tour, particularly the red striped pants/black shirt with badges combo. I have liked all their looks, including (although initially surprised by) AI which has, of course, become iconic. I also really liked the Foam look when I thought Billie and Mike particularly looked amazing.

  19. One of my singular favorite looks of theirs was the way they dressed in the When I Come Around video. Billie's thrift store sweater and Dickies, Mike's bondage belt and punk hair, they all look laid back, cool and amazing.

  20. Does anyone remember the story from many years back of someone pretending to be Mike? Like there was a guy going around the bars or something of LA and telling people he was Mike Dirnt of Green Day and was either assaulting women or stealing from people I forget. I'm trying to find where I read about that. I'm pretty sure I'm not making it up, the police were looking for the guy and Mike had to prove it wasn't him or something. Anyone have any detail on this?
