Just speculating but I don't think we are going to get any more teasers or rumblings, I think that has come and passed. I think the next time we hear something will be an official announcement.

I think the ‘teases’ should never be assumed to be teases in the first place, but more of a ‘we’re doing stuff and it’s fun and exciting’ kind of thing, plans change and things develop differently all the time, so it’s not like they (probably) planned to be teasing for this long, it’s just ended up this way. It’s cool to get an insight into what they’re up to cause the alternative would be nothing at all and that’s boring too. i feel like this we might get some rumblings of something soon though.

Green Day want to be Prince, so they should do the next Batman soundtrack. I won't GO CRAZY this time, but here's some song titles. 1. Grass Pants 2. Toodles 3. Women Think I'm Hot 4. Break Window 5. Incense and Peppermint 6. Spoon In Flames 7. Frighten My Face 8. Monk E 9. I didn't know about the fire 10. Fabrics 11. Nap Again, I think 1972 is weird title and makes no sense. I wouldn't name an album 19-19-1985, because what would I have to say about it? Maybe 87, but it would written from a blurry perspective. Stuffed animals hanging from the wall. Retro fridge magnets. Riding lawn mowers. That's all I got. I bet Billie can't remember anything before 1975. I'm going to ask him.

Poor guys, and after such a long journey too, no wonder Billie looks pissed off. If you do a great deal of travelling for work, things like having your own pillow can become important to you.

Green Day were clearly aware of MOOTIK, because someone commented about it on Billie’s Instagram, and then he circled the comment in his Instagram story. I think they’re teasing 1972 this way to prevent that from happening again, plus they teased the Trilogy 10 years ago in a similar way with those YouTube teasers. And for RevRad, we frequently got studio photos with the #RevRad hashtag. Also, the question is, why were they being so secretive about FOAM? Granted, yes we still don’t know much about 1972 but at least we’re getting teasers for it!!!

1 hour is too long anyway. I'm always tired at LOTAG/Murder City when I listen to 21stCB in his entirety.

In that one magazine interview, Billie said it's coming out in 2023, and I found it odd that they started teasing as soon as December 2021, and by doing that, they implied that release is much much sooner than that. I mean, we didn't even officially know about FOAM until the day before the single came out. We only knew for months that they were in the studio because of Butch Walker's video. I really think they're putting a lot of work into 1972, whether it be grandiose production, a double album, or maybe even a triple album done right!!! We already saw CLA in that one teaser in the summer, so obviously they were already in the mixing stage by then. So if everything is finished, why would they put it off until next year?

Seriously. They started early and now there’s nothing. Probably something really interesting will happen soon with new music. I hope that’s what is the reason for all this drawn out anticipation. Or they don’t care and there’s no reason for anything.

I know, right? The last one was back on August 15th and we got none in September, I'm guessing because of all those festivals they played throughout the month. They have a little break now before the F1 show in Austin, Texas on the 21st and that's also their last show of the year.

Because it was a greatest hits tour. In this Kerrang interview, Billie literally says that the reason for the album's omission from the tour wasn't because of their dislike of the record but because they wanted to "play the songs that are most sentimental at this moment" which is probably why they played Pollyanna for the tour because it was released in the middle of the pandemic and had the message of everything is going to be alright. Billie even says "I love the record" "especially side two". You can think he's not being entirely truthful there but there is literally no evidence to suggest that the band dislikes the album This album seems to be more disliked by fans than the trilogy anyway
