Maybe they just wanted to test how it sounds outside of the studio and practice it on tour during the soundcheck. If it works then I‘m sure they play it live. But for now on I think they won‘t play a new song during the rest of a tour. I think this was the last soloshow? Would have been the best opportunity. I can‘t see them playing a live a new song for a few F1 Fans (VIPs for F1 can also go to the show as far as I know)

As much as I'd love a new single this year I don't see it happening. There's not really any more shows left to promote something new and when they release singles they always do a ton of interviews and TV performances and they've already had a pretty busy year, I could see them wanting to rest before they start all that up again, and they deserve some rest too

what if we all got stuck in an alternate time-loop where the hella mega set is the only one they perform forever? or, alternatively, the band really is playing many different songs from their catalog, but reality warps it into the hella mega songs that we the audience perceive? that would mean The small show they recently did… The Metro! there was something there in or around the venue that destroyed the force field, and the likes of church on Sunday was set free!

I mean I literally asked if they were performing the new songs during the show or before it. I understood the reddit post as not necessarily meaning "They're gonna play new songs during the show" It's also very possible that the redditor was just flat out lying for attention too. You'd think GDC would've learned by now not believe every little thing
