I’m willing to wait if the end result is incredible. I know we all want new music now, but letting something marinate for a while and be crafted into something beautiful will be a much greater payoff, especially when they seem so proud of this project.

Can't believe I'm seeing the guys today in two weeks in Berlin, it's been so long😭 It feels like the first ray of warm sunlight after a long, long thunderstorm. My dad died some months ago and I haven't been able to feel happy about anything ever since. Now I'm starting to look forward to this show and I know my dad will be there with me❤️

Yeah, festival sets tend to be a bit shorter in general. I saw Green Day in 2013 when they were headlining Rock am Ring the last time and they played much longer though, so I definitely hope this year it'll be longer than the timetable suggests too. Oh and I hope the show will be streamed, like the 2013 performance (though it wasn't the full show, but most parts of it). We can need some great new live footage, it's been too long!

Yeah, that's always how I've viewed it lyrically. When you're in that much pain, even if you're not directly hurting the other party, but hurting yourself, it hurts them just as much as it hurts you. Speaking as someone who's been on both sides of the same coin, it's fucking heartbreaking. But I also view it as a 'coming to Jesus' (as my dad used to call it) song. Like, the family members or friends sitting the effected person down and trying to get through to them. And again, it's really heartbreaking when they don't take you seriously and in the absolute worse case, hurt themselves so much they can't come back.

So funny story, my daughter is on a school program in Los Angeles right now for Children’s Media and she’s getting a tour of Henson studios and she just texted me that she saw Billie Joe sitting at a table outside 😭😭😭 I begged her for a photo but she wasn’t even sure if it was him until I confirmed that they’re recording there. I agree July 2 would be a very appropriate announcement date. They should know all the release details by then, the HM Europe tour will be just ending and 7/2 you know. Doesn’t mean they’re planning that but it would be cool

Maybe a new song a week before the berlin show, but I doubt it. they‘re headlining rock am ring on friday and are set to play 100 min. Maybe „Magenta TV“ has still the rights to stream the whole show. But with a 100 Minute set I can‘t see them playing a brand new song in front of many „not-fans“.

When nothing feels right. i'm just so glad for GD and music in general😣 mentally idk whats wrong with me, I just don't feel right. But I listened to Pollyanna and it made me cry lol... concerts are the only way I feel ok. And I'm just grateful I get to see GD again in July and August. Just gotta save up more money and be super cheap in the meantime so I can afford to go to even more, I don't feel ok everyday but as soon as the lights hit and I'm in the first or 2nd row of the pit at a Green Day concert, I feel ok💚 and all my troubles are gone for in that moment.

I just want to mention again, that in one teaser we saw the number „72“ on the backside of a guitar. So an announcement or release on 2nd July is still possible 😄

For all we know, maybe they’re already done and just posting these clips now. I mean, one day there’s a teaser from RAK, next day there’s one from Ocean Way.

Maybe it was so exclusive that the band was the only people at the show And they were all isolated during the performance, not even being able to hear each other. They just blasted through their setlist and left. No cameras. No comradery. no nothing. Kind of a cool idea.

What delayed it was Brit and Jason’s cancer treatments. Mike wanted more time off when that was all done even into 2015 just to regroup. It was the Hall of Fame induction in April that gave them a little kickstart but it wasn’t until later that year that they really started work on RevRad. First tease with a title was January 2016

I gotta feeling we arnt getting this album til 2023
