  4. With all of the shows and festivals coming up, I have a hard time imagining the band won't want to have something new out within the next two months.

  7. It's way better than 2019! We only had the Butch Walker studio video to go by. This time, we have a lot of teasers from the band themselves!!!!

  12. I love festivals for the party atmosphere, but they definitely lack the intimacy of a venue show and the sound is also usually not as good as a venue show.

  14. Yeah I go to concerts by myself all the time. I absolutely love it. I'm a huge fan of concerts but festivals don't seem as appealing to me. We'll see though

  15. Glad to see the guys continuing to announce more U.S. dates for when the Euro tour wraps up... it'd be nice if they'd do one that isn't 500+ (or in this case, thousands of) miles from me though lol I always have fun when I go to festivals solo (granted, I'm a fan of fests in general). It's a different experience; there's no pressure to compromise on anything for people you're with and you just get to be a "free agent," drifting around and finding yourself in multiple different groups throughout the day.

  17. Because they didnā€™t do the typical press and promo on the Hella Mega, we actually havenā€™t had a feature interview with the band since 2019 (maybe early 2020?). Thatā€™s what Iā€™m most eager for.

  18. This is true. I donā€™t remember MM2020 release teases that well. It was fun when Fink took over BJAā€™s Instagram and stuff like that. That was interesting. Max Creeps isnā€™t Green Day related but it seemed even more exciting than the build up for 1972. I hope when 1972 is ready to be released there is that much fanfare and hype. It was very creative and fun to watch the mystery of Max Creeps even though it ended up not being Green Day related. I just remembered MOOTIK. Green Day fans are very good at taking a small little crumb to the next level. Just going to sit back and wait again for something exciting to happenā€¦

  20. New book out today from music journalist Ian Winwood about the perils of the music industry. Green Day is included. I have the ebook and just started it and I highly recommend it:

  22. Only had time to watch about first 12 minutes but this is just brilliant! If anyone doubted what sort of person Billie was, that footage from London with Rachel is all you need to know. He clearly recognises she is going to need assistance and, not only does he show patience and understanding, but his security guy (canā€™t believe I canā€™t remember his name right now), does too and the whole thing was so emotional and amazing. He handled it beautifully and she, and her carer, were great. Now watched whole thing, fabulous, love it and so great to see the bit from Broadway Idiot. Could only get the download of that so donā€™t have it the extras. Well done, you really captured them šŸ‘šŸ‘ā¤ļøā¤ļø
