  1. Billie bleaching his hair is typically good news.

  3. I mean who knows what he actually said, what he meant with it, and what the fan heard. It’s not a press statement.

  4. I don’t think it ever was a 6 track EP. They just started with six songs and split the recording schedule up to maybe suit everyone’s schedules since that’s a long time to be away all at once (May have been covid reasons or visa restrictions)

  5. I drove past the stadium where Green Day played on Hella Mega today (it's rare that I do because it's south Seattle and I don't usually go that far, but was coming back from dropping people off at the airport) and whenever I see a venue where they've played I get this welling of fangirl feelings. Like "Eeeeee! Green Day was there! I saw them! They were in that stadium! 😍 " I develop a certain attachment or special feeling for places that I have seen Green Day or that I associate with them. Is anyone else like this or is that just me?

  7. I haven't lost interest but I am growing impatient. I liked the more active teasing. It seems like it comes and goes in small waves.

  8. You reminded me, our brand new events arena just opened when Covid hit so became our vaccine centre. I had two shots there so took the opportunity to snoop round dressing rooms etc in case GD ever make it this far north! Sounds slightly creepy now I think about it 😂😂

  9. If 1972 is an album I expect 3 or more singles ahead of the release

  10. I do this too! Whenever I'm near Aragon Ballroom I get this sense of pride like "Yeah, my boys Green Day played there and I went! NBD NBD."

  11. I assume it’s old because he’s been posting pics from over the last two years and we know he’s been blonde already at least once. Plus he has a Green Day show coming up and he’s only had black hair for Green Day gigs for the past six years. But whatever, if it’s new that’s great

  14. imo we have to possibilities: 1) a short run of marketing and releasing single(s) and a full LP release just before/during hellamega shows in europe 2) teasing continues, and we wont get anything until hellamega is over peoples attention span is very short nowadays, so i dont see them releasing single(s) for months a quick intense marketing is what i expect, but we are running out of time for option 1, so maybe option 2 is more likely (sadly)

  15. That's what I was thinking. Either The Dirnt or Dirnt Dirnt Dirnt. I wonder if his wife refers to him as Dirnt, or Pritchard. Like if she were talking to someone who didn't know who he was, which name would she use? And Tre....does his wife call him Tre or Frank? I've really used my lunchtime wisely. Haha

  17. Given how long they have teased other projects, I think we could be ages away from a release. I think the “6 track EP” may have evolved into an album. Feels like they teased Revrad for a long time.

  18. In my gym, on the treadmill, I run virtually past AT&T arena in San Francisco regularly and do that every time, you should see me when I’m really near somewhere they played! 😂 sad, I know.

  19. Again, Green Day don't have to deal with a typical album roll-out anymore. They could put the record out tomorrow if they wanted to.

  29. We're both a LONG way from Oakland, that's for sure. I thought you'd be closer, but it looks like I'd have a 6 hour head start if we were to race to Oakland Coffee, haha! I remember loving the dark roast, and I think I tried the Atomic Garden one as well, but I'll see how they compare. Can't do it tonight as I've already had too much coffee, like Mike Dirnt in Homecoming, haha.

  30. Oakland Coffee was extra speedy this time with my coffee order. Two days, nice! I'm going to do a comparison video on the Father of All Dark Roasts and Atomic Garden. Atomic Garden smells the best, as I can smell it through the freakin' bag and and Father of All Dark Roast really doesn't have a smell, which is weird. Maybe it's broken. But yeah. Coffee. I'm happy about that, (al) bummed that Shinedown are delaying their new album by months.

  33. It was like that for me when I got my first covid shots. They had a big vaccine clinic at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh where I saw Green Day on the RevRad tour. It was my first time back there since then and was all I could think about when I walked in.

  35. I once had a dream where I was with some friends and we went to a record shop to look at some vinyls and cds, I asked for an album called "1972" a worker opened a drawer filled with cds and I saw a cd called "1972", the album cover was kinda green I think? I don't remember but after that I ran and stole it but then I woke up.

  38. I totally get you! I live around an hour away from Seattle but when I do visit my aunt (which is pretty often) and we drive by the T-Mobile arena I always associate it with 'my first Green Day concert' now. Even the shirt I wore is that day (a pink My Totoro tee) is special to me in that way now!

  39. idk I think we should just be patient. Everything they've been teasing so far has been from when they were in the studio, and they were teasing when they were recording too. Now that they're back in the U.S. and recording is (for now, as far as we know) done it could be they have nothing more to tease without giving away too much or they were told to cut back.

  42. Agree! I wish it was longer it would have given more of a chance to get into the groove of it. I think it was an innovative album for Green Day. At least we got the Network shortly after FOAM.

They even showed pictures of the wedding The guy who comes in early when singing American Idiot use to be a mod on here but sadly isn’t as active anymore. Still see him post on social media though, his name is Tony and he’s an absolute sweetheart
