The Interrupters just announced their new album and it comes out in August so I think we're looking at a Fall release no matter what at this point. Single, who knows? They just finished recording so at least a few months. Late summer?

yeah, i wanted to see the pretty reckless at rock am ring festival 😅 but i think cancelling festival shows is not as "bad" as cancelling a whole tour, i think GD would have said sth by now if they plan to cancel hellamega in europe, im sure it will take place :) (gonna see GD at rock am ring and for the final hellamega show in paris)

Oh Yeah is fine with ohyeahs, but that damn ''aah'' from Billie is annoying and it didn't work at all during live performances either. Remove that and the song slaps. I still love FOAM and it holds very special place in my heart, but sadly most of the album aged badly. Father of All is terrible. Fire, Ready, Aim is better as instrumental. Oh Yeah is Yeah. Meet Me on the Roof is garbage. I Was a Teenage Teenager has its moments but goddammit no. Stab You in the Heart is still the best track on the album. Sugar Youth is too simple. Junkies on a High is Boulevard but worse on every aspect. Take the Money and Crawl can suck my cock. Graffitia is so much better as acoustic. Bring back Trilogy songs to setlist Green Day goddammit.

Yeah it looks like the festivals will take place, but what concerns me is that some American bands have recently cancelled their 2022 summer shows in Europe (The Pretty Reckless, Static X), they were supposed to play festivals over here too. So I'm still not 100% sure the Hella Mega European leg will take place and I'm still hesitating to book flights/hotels for my shows. The first show in Berlin is less than 2 months away, I just wish we'd get a definite "GO" from the band anytime soon.

I had one last night where Tré and Billie were both in my bed.😳 Billie was on the right side and Tré was on the left (from the bed's perspective). My bed is a full so it's not really big enough for three people, but I needed to get in so I tried to squeeze in between Billie and Tré. I couldn't really scooch all the way up to my pillow because the space was so cramped, so I thought: Okay then, screw it. I'll just put my head on Billie's stomach and sleep that way. A little later in the dream it turned out that it was all in my imagination and they weren't really ever there. Where Tré had been was some kind of radiator and the side where Billie had been was empty. This was super disappointing. I've had other dreams where I've cuddled with Billie and they've been wonderful, but I guess this time it "wasn't real".

Not sure if this has been pointed out recently, but how long has the songsforassholes account been at 72 posts? I thought I remembered fewer but I don’t check it that often. Could be a coincidence but if that happened recently maybe an announcement is imminent.

I GOT EM!!!!! OMG I can't believe it. I forgot how nerve wracking it is buying Green Day tickets. Just a heads up it is a bit misleading because it says tickets for the day are $59 but that's just a grounds pass. You have to buy those first and then there's a $79 ticket you need to see Green Day. You have to buy both. Then with Ticketmaster fees and all it's more like $150 but I got em!
