I know! That was such a wonderful surprise! I've always really enjoyed Billie's drawings too. He should post more of that as well. He definitely has his own distinctive style and it's weird and lovely just like him.

Billie Joe doesn't do enough photo dumping. It should become something regular at least for a little while because I loved all the pics he shared

met billie joe, tre and jason white at cherry bar in melbourne when they were touring here in 2017. my friend was playing in a soul band that night at cherry so i thought i’d go along to watch. i opened the door but someone was blocking it from fully opening, it was billie joe. ”sorry man!” he said. i went white as a ghost and just said “n-n-n-no worries mate” what are the chances they were also at the same bar!! had to drink about 7 pints before i could build up the courage to go talk to them. eventually when i started walking towards them their security said i couldn’t go talk to them, which i respected. i was just happy to be able to see them in the flesh and breath the same air lol. later on i was ordering a drink at the bar when jason white stood next to me. i took my chance and let them know how much the band has meant to me throughout my life, he was super cool and said come have a drink with us. we ended up hanging out for about half an hour talking about the times they’ve toured here down under. i was so nervous and was trying my best to stop shaking. i was so rattled that i left my phone on the sink basin in the toilets. tre tapped me on the shoulder when walking out of the bathrooms and said “hey you left this”. upon seeing that i was walking out of the bathroom with tre the security stepped in, thinking i was probably bothering them. tre said “nah, this is dom, he’s with us!” (so cool) i got my photo taken with billie joe and sadly didn’t get the chance with tre, but the memory is still so clear in my mind. the next night i managed to play guitar during knowledge with them. easy to say that it was the best 24 hours of my life. anyway that’s my cool story of meeting them. oh and safe to say that i didn’t end up watching a single second of my friends set that night.

I was about to buy some Rob Zombie coffee after seeing a headline about it.... But it didn't seem as hands on as Oakland Coffee, and who wants to drink coffee advertised by a zombie, anyway? I went back to Oakland Coffee and got both ground coffees they have.

The first one either is or is very like his recent tiny selfie, the fourth one looks like that recent one he posted, the blonde one we have seen before and the one with the balloon things but goodness, what a random selection. Love it.

Ah damn, you beat me to posting those. I just saw them on Instagram now. The first one is just unbelievable. How is he so pretty?! I wish we knew when the first, fourth, and last three photos are from. Clearly we can't go off Billie's appearance because he doesn't age, so it's definitely a mystery.

That is a fucking great story! I remember passing cherry bar an hour or so later and knowing they’d been there and had my eyes peeled 😂😂 and also freaking out inside because I don’t know what I’d do if I was to bump into them haha

Yeah I decided to not go to the show tonight. But if it turns out that green day does surprise (slightest chance), I'm gonna be so pissed for missing it

Ah, yes. Hello. Copy-paste from last year. Time: UK Leg of the Rev-Rad tour last year. "I will (sadly) never be able to prove this but I just stood in the same room as Billie Joe, Mike, Tre, Jeff, Jeff, Jason and Sara and a few other Green Day posse. My wonderful father works at the Triumph branch at Hinckley, and as a surprise to me took me there and they were visiting to see the bikes as Mike and Tre both own one and this Triumph factory is the only one in England. Sadly, as immobile, was not able to go on the tour around the factory but they hung around reception for a while. But my dad did. He was accompanying a massive bald guy with tattoos covering his arm (Arturo the security dude now I know) talking to him about various projects and bikes. Tre was running around taking photos on all the bikes. Mike spoke to me briefly about his bikes. Tre said hi to me. I nearly died. Billie was tired. No photos were taken as they were about 2 hours late and had other things to do. So, again no proof but if you see Mike/Tre posting pictures about bikes, I guess that's proof enough. So happy! Bring on the rest of the tour!"
