Was scrolling through IG suggestions last night and found it funny that these two pics (ie hot vs. well...) were next to each other. And then I came here to this.5 points

If you’re local, the worst thing that happens is that you’ll see some other band and will have a regular night out5 points

I'm really digging what they are doing now. They may not be revealing many details, but they are definitely dropping in enough hints to keep us satisfied, and they are consistent enough now where it doesn't feel like they are going to go silent for a month or so before the next hint. The sun is out longer, the weather is getting warmer, and the boys are active. What else can I ask for?4 points

They’re probably being careful. Anything they say can be taken as an April Fools joke, like the apparent Gillman Street debacle. Maybe we’ll know for sure tomorrow4 points

I was thinking GDC looks like a prison today. Just drab brown and grey everywhere. First person I saw the pic next to was @Slave To The Network and I was thinking, why on earth did she change her pic to that?4 points

That's true. I might consider still going. Isn't the Gilman for a more younger crowd though? I'm 32 and might be the oldest one there lol, but if it turns out to be green day I won't care4 points

Just wanna say I’m glad to see them having fun and also heavily focused! I think the first leg of hella mega was really good for the band!3 points

It should be revealed tomorrow. Any reasonable person aware of April Fools Day would wait 24 hours before making irreversible and expensive plans.3 points

If this is a joke show that might be cruel. Some Green Day fans would fly in for this spending a lot of hard earned money and taking time off work and more. Green Day fans are hardcore crazy sometimes. I hope they wouldn’t try to hurt anyone like this.3 points

Thought this was the new album cover for a split second. In that split second, I both loved it and hated it all at once.3 points

I often wonder what it must have been like for Larry Livermore in his forties there hanging out with all teenagers3 points

FAN POLL: TOP 5 POP-PUNK ALBUMS 1. Green Day - Dookie Simply put, Dookie completely changed the look, sound and commercial potential of pop-punk forever. Underground purists can pretend they've never caught themselves whistling the tune of "When I Come Around" or whisper-singing the words, "sometimes I give myself the creeps," when "Basket Case" pops on the radio, but these songs are undeniably great — both within the context of punk and rock music writ large. Beyond its timeless sound, Dookie has served as a crucial gateway into punk music for multiple generations of listeners, and a good chunk of those fans eventually end up in the metal mosh pits. Dookie is the one. https://www.revolvermag.com/music/fan-poll-top-5-pop-punk-albums?fbclid=IwAR2Y-I4i2fLNMmgrPkaKP61BW30tcF_4HXF07vEziZDB66ZBDlH_1t41oDg#1-green-day-dookie2 points

^ Yeah, I don't think Green Day would be involved in a prank like that, I don't think they have any ties to the place outside of sentimentality and Ultra Q occasionally playing there. Regardless I will visit, since I've been wanting to for a while now. Kinda a sort of pilgrimage thing + research for a story I'm writing. Watching the documentary on it was fascinating too, it's amazing how much history it has.2 points

Let's keep an eye on their Instagram stories. If we see they're back home in California, then we'll know the Gillman Street show is happening!!!2 points

Not sure if this has been posted before. Revolver Magazine have Dookie as their No 1 Pop Punk album from a fan poll https://www.facebook.com/35498912016/posts/10159957269882017/?sfnsn=scwspmo2 points

I don't get it. Why even post this joke? April Fool's is tomorrow. This is just odd.2 points

I have no idea, I honestly only just got really into Green Day after my friend dragged me to Hella Mega in September. Even so, they're already super important to me and have influenced my writings so much already, I'd just love to go to a venue like that and see them, especially so close to my birthday!2 points

What if Green Day cancel, and The Network fill in for them, playing 1972 in full? Whoa.2 points
