Just be patient guys. We used to wait 4 years between records. The problem with this hyper social media era is that it teaches people to become inpatient & it’s a nasty habit to pick up. None of us know what goes on behind the scenes too, sometimes reality and home life come before the band. Relax and the music will come and it’ll be great as always.

I don’t think we would be as impatient if they hadn’t started teasing something in December. I think that only makes it worse if you then don’t follow it up with anything. If not for that, we’d probably just be focusing on other things and not expecting anything. So I don’t think people are complaining about the lack of music or the wait, it’s the fact that they hinted at something imminent and then dropped it

Anyone know what it means when an album is trending on Spotify? Is that a big deal? I just saw that Stop, Drop & Roll! is a trending album not sure why but that’s cool. (Only thing I can think of is that it’s near the anniversary of their last performance at SXSW)

I watched a movie tonight and in one scene a character was saying they can't adopt a dog because look how much they have going on already and they named all the pets they already had as the camera cut between them. One of the pets was a small python named Billie (and I know it was Billie with an "ie" because that's what the CC said). Thought that was funny.

I mean, compared to usual, it seemed sparse to me. We did get some great pics, but not as much as I would have liked to see. The lack of pro-shot footage is still a crime too.

I thought Billie Joe’s IG story about voting for the hall of fame was more exciting than all the Green Day hints combined. The Green Day album hints aren’t saying much and they’re too few and far between to build much hype. If something crazy is going on behind the scenes that is something else entirely. I hope everyone is ok and of course that is more important than dropping album hints.

1972 was the year that Billie Joe Armstrong was born was it not? in the winter of 1992-1993 was the first time I saw him "live" on cable television" and I wasn't permitted to record him on the VHS.... dammit! I wanted to badly. By the way: What do you call a watch with polka-dots all over it? What did Billie Joe do with his foot when the screen went blank on his Computer? What types of fruit were in the fruit bowl during one of the first appearances of Green Day on television? Who was the girl in the white dress with black stripes in the video handing Billie Joe Armstrong a sandwich on a plate while he was sitting on the floor of his closet?

And guys don’t forget, the Innings Festival is on Saturday so they’re probably rehearsing like crazy this week. Just wait, 1972 stuff would probably ramp up again next week!!!

I just started watching The Great North and in one of the episodes a character mentions that the only songs they know on guitar are Good Riddance (they say "Time Of Your Life by Green Day") and some other song I can't remember (not GD).
