Just be patient guys. We used to wait 4 years between records. The problem with this hyper social media era is that it teaches people to become inpatient & it’s a nasty habit to pick up. None of us know what goes on behind the scenes too, sometimes reality and home life come before the band. Relax and the music will come and it’ll be great as always.

OMG. I'm just so excited to be seeing Green Day again in 2 days🤩. I last saw them exactly 6 months ago on the last US date of HellaMega. Billie is looking so good in those pics posted of him in his red suit tho😊😍

I don’t think we would be as impatient if they hadn’t started teasing something in December. I think that only makes it worse if you then don’t follow it up with anything. If not for that, we’d probably just be focusing on other things and not expecting anything. So I don’t think people are complaining about the lack of music or the wait, it’s the fact that they hinted at something imminent and then dropped it

I thought Billie Joe’s IG story about voting for the hall of fame was more exciting than all the Green Day hints combined. The Green Day album hints aren’t saying much and they’re too few and far between to build much hype. If something crazy is going on behind the scenes that is something else entirely. I hope everyone is ok and of course that is more important than dropping album hints.

This is the most boring Green Day tease promo era ever. I think it’s sad considering how exciting the Longshot teasing was and that seemed to just be one person in charge of all that. How disappointing it is for Green Day to be less exciting than the Longshot. And by a lot. The height Longshot excitement was 2018 and it still tops Green Day 2022. That’s pretty bad. Hopefully that means something truly amazing is coming out way. Otherwise I wish they hadn’t bothered with the teasing and false hope for something new and exciting.

@jengd Oh duh! I should have remembered that, thanks! I agree, he is quite a private person and I love that about him. He's not one of those celebrities who's constantly posting about every fucking thing they do and "oMg loOk At hoW aMAziNg My liFe iS, I'M aN INflUeNcer!11!1" garbage. Sadly, a lot of them are like that. But Billie is genuine, kind, and at times modest to the point of self deprecation. It's a wonderful thing that he values just being a regular person who has his own life.
