  2. That era in particular was something special. For me it wasn't t the best but I think it was a remarkable point of change for Green Day. I was in my first year of college and man what a time! I had a couple of friends and we talked about the footage of the shows at the tiki bar and how amazing those new songs sounded and how excited we were for the official versions to come out. Honestly, the final recordings were not to my liking back then. I remember how disappointed I was with Oh love as I think it's a song that had a lot of potential to be one of the best in GD entire career. But still, what a nice surprise Lazy Bones and Brutal Love were the first time I heard them (my favorites of the trilogy). Those songs fit well with the sound that the band wanted to implement at that time. I can only say that for years I thought they were their worst records, now I think they are the most greendayish albums in their entire history. It's as if you put all their records in a blender and when you mix them, what comes out is the trilogy. It was a fun time, I like to associate some period of my life with the music I was listening to at that time and without a doubt the trilogy has a special place in my heart ❤️

  3. Love Billie's post for his mum's birthday. It's clear where he gets his youthful looks from!

  11. Aside from Billie's personal stuff it was great! The way they premiered the songs live before the albums came out was really cool, went to a show at the beginning and another at the end and both were amazing, and I still love the albums. Fun times on GDC as well. I even like the album covers There's no era I haven't enjoyed though tbh. Shame FOAM was limited/cut short by covid but still enjoyed what we did get and still excited to finally see them live again after buying the tickets in 2019 lol. Very awesome that it seems we could get another album before then, wasn't expecting this at all.
