  2. Am I a #fakefan for having payed absolutely no attention whatsoever to this thread? I know speculation is GDC's signature move when there's any hint of new music, but I'm just too lazy to keep up this round. I have no idea what's going on other than what Green Day posts.

  3. I don't think so. I briefly scan the thread most days and love the hints from the band but just think it will happen when it happens and will be what it will be and that's exciting enough knowing something is in the pipeline

  4. Sometimes Billie's the excited one.

  5. Interestingly, Green Day and The Coverups have done great covers of songs from both those albums so we know Billie really likes them both. 1972 was a good year for music. You haven’t missed anything

  6. Unless you count this.

  7. It’s the only way to stay same. I do read the thread but try to stay calm 🤯

  8. Don't know that he's gotten emotional with fans specifically, but he definitely gets emotional pretty regularly (typically during certain songs). First thing that comes to my mind is WMUWSE from BIAB or from Irving Plaza 2012.

  9. Off topic but: either exile on main St by the rolling stones or Ziggy stardust by Bowie are the best albums froms 1972 (not exactly a unpopular opinion though.) I wonder if this ep will have some influences from some 1972 bands and/or albums

  11. Thanks! This is the page on my website about it: https://www.mariagloriaharvey.com/my-rage-my-love-my-life There's also a Tumblr: https://myragemylovemylife.tumblr.com/ And a blog category, although a lot of these posts focus on my experiences, not the fandom as a whole https://www.mariagloriaharvey.com/blog/categories/my-rage-my-love-my-life There are two editions of the book that used to be up for sale, but I haven't had enough interest in another batch to print more.

  14. If you’re a member of the GDC/GDA I think you’re next level special fandom level… or sometimes a troll. Trolls suck. They really need to get a life and stop throwing their negativity where it’s not needed or wanted. The true fans on here are amazing. But I don’t think anyone is a #fakefan for not reading or following this speculation thread. It’s basically garbage but it’s fun. Maybe someone’s theory will be correct and they can be win an award or something.

  15. As long as you're a member of GDA, you are a true Green Day fan. The question is how many idiots are out there falsely claiming falsely fandom when they aren't on here?

  17. I love that song! It's one of my favorite Viva Death songs. They're such a good band.

  19. I don’t think the Beach Boys thing was part of it. Didn’t someone say it was one of the members’ birthday that day? I think it was a tribute he didn’t mean to post publicly because he doesn’t intend to release it

  20. I really think the February 2 theory is more likely

  24. In looking at all the albums, which do you think is the happiest in terms of lyrical aspects? I'd say Warning is fairly optimistic. There's darkness for sure, particularly in the middle of the record but compared the other albums, it's grinning like an idiot and I love it.
