I can't see them doing a new album this soon (plus I doubt they'd do anything on next year's HM tour other than continue with greatest hits), but I'd love an unreleased album. Give me Dreamcatcher, Oh Girl, Olivia, and Minnesota Girl finally!

I'd honestly be more excited for that. A chance to see them in that small club setting again would be amazing! Of course, I'd take GD in a small club setting over The Longshot any day, but what's the likelihood of that ever happening again anytime soon?

It’s his way of leaking it and getting hype or he doesn’t care if the news gets shared. He’s done it this way at least twice before that we know of and both times the information was 100% accurate

There is definitely a collection of Sweet Children demos that hopefully will be officially released one day, but if this is a hint of that I think it is unrelated to the report of six new songs recorded in the UK. I think we need to separate the speculation into two different equally likely projects. There doesn’t have to be one unified theory that all the clues add up to.

Todd apparently has a few unreleased songs gagged by green day so maybe there's a hint there, BJ didn't say it was a studio album, could be a great-sounding collection of unreleased very early songs. just a thought

The idea of using that photo for an album cover seems like inspiration from UltraQ since their last two EP covers were old 80’s era photos of Adrienne. He may be toying with the idea but I doubt he’d do it. It could be another reference to an EP release though since UltraQ’s are.

Oh yeah! The Network too! There’s been so much goodness over the past couple of years. I’m not going to think about HCTS or Pollyanna as a new direction or anything like that. They were one off singles - nice little bonuses. Not whole projects.

That’s also something I was wondering. If they recorded new songs in London was it at BBC Studios or Abbey Road? BBC would fit with the current release if the six songs are new BBC Sessions (ie, not new songs) but if they’re all new songs, maybe the experience of recording an EP in Abbey Road would be pretty awesome for them? I admit I’d be disappointed if these turn out to be BBC Sessions of American Idiot songs or something. I’m assuming actual new songs. My guess is some things had to be cut for Hella Mega to leave enough space for Fall Out Boy and Weezer, so they stuck with the hits. If it were a regular Green Day concert, FOAM song would probably be there
