I don't think I really wonder too much about what the next album might sound like before it happens. More of an expect nothing then anything that comes up is a bonus type philosophy!

Here are more cold Billie photos: He must just always be cold because he even put on a sweatshirt over his dress at this PHG concert even though it was in Gilman, which I'm sure is hot because it's so tiny. I think he wore a scarf after that show too. Maybe that's why he's stopped wearing T-shirts - they're too cold. JK, but what if? Even scarves that aren't necessarily used to keep warm are cute on him.

Kevin is very busy and popular and I am so glad he’s in Green Day on tour! So good! I hope Billie posts soon 😆 super grateful the account is back and love the pics from the Prima Donna show everyone has been posting. That looked amazing ESPECIALLY the after party jam with Monkey from the Adicts and Billie Joe Armstrong and Kevin Preston and everyone… That was amazing! I don’t know what I would have done. Freaked out in the best way possible! Count your lucky stars if you were there! Whoa! Billie Joe Armstrong posted some pics in his stories of what I was just talking about! Spotify thinks you're me. Interesting. It's usually pretty good at recommending stuff, but I've got it in my head that if I play Nimrod nonstop it will be even better. That reminds me, I've got some Uno blasting right now. Gotta get back to Nimrod. I think I'm on the verge....Nimrod just might be better than American Idiot. At least at this moment in time.

I don’t understand why Spotify keeps thinking I want to hear Offspring and Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam all the time as a Green Day fan. I have never voluntarily listened to any of those other bands. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with those bands but they’re not for me. Green Day as a band/genre/timeline is so all encompassing I guess I can see where those bands come from but based on everything else I listen to it makes no sense. Green Day is throwing off the algorithm to give me stuff I don’t care for sometimes. Prima Donna seems to get it back on track a bit. I like classic rock, glam, punk etc Green Day fits all that at one time or another. Jeezus Green Day is a great band. Spotify needs to learn what I’m all about… I guess it’s too Scattered.

Seeing the dynamic between Kevin and Billie is pretty damn cute, and funny. A couple times Billie yelled things from the crowd to Kevin onstage just to mess with him. At one point Kevin was like "sorry we don't have merch set up here, we didn't plan that because we're dumb" 😄 and Billie pulled his mask down and yelled "free t-shirts!!"

I’d be excited if this were legit but why would Billie tell a random fan about a new record and trust him to keep it a secret? It obviously failed because we wouldn’t be talking about this right now!!! I hope it’s another rock opera based on everything that happened in the past year and a half. Covid, BLM, the election, and all the political unrest!

I just want a new big album on their career like AI/Dookie or 21 CB, at least. I know may I'm asking too much, but It's because when they was mainstream I wasn't born yet (Dookie) or I was just a little kid (AI).

This discussion is making me depressed like its 2013 all over again

Considering DRB is one of the songs from the trilogy that people liked more than most, I could possibly see them playing that song at some point. Although with how they've ignored the trilogy and now how they're even ignoring their most recent album FOAMF, idk how likely it is

To this day, it bugs me how Billie said how he wrote Dirty Rotten Bastards as an arena anthem yet they still haven’t played it live!

Not sure it’s that or a Billie reason. The Longshot plays Trilogy songs every set. I think there’s more to it why Green Day don’t play those songs. Not sure why. Or why they don’t play any FOAM. The Trilogy may be a victim of bad timing or something. Hopefully time will change that and those records will get the appreciation they deserve. I’m hoping Green Day just randomly drops a Trilogy song like nothing ever happened and those records hadn’t been forgotten by the band or fans. Definitely not forgotten.
