I really hope they just do a regular tour. I get they may want to do another monster tour in the future but they have to know that not everyone loves Hella Mega.

Well, I think it seems clear that doesn't matter since HM did so much better than their previous tours. Obviously, I still maintain my opinion that HM is an atrocity, but it's a profitable atrocity so if they're able to repeat the success, they have no reason to go back to normal tours, unless they want to appease GDC user Beerjeezus. (And unfortunately it takes little to do that).

Hopefully this is just the first domino, and we'll be getting a spring tour or at least a short run of festival appearances. I do believe I'll go to this if they don't announce anything closer to me and my wallet can handle the travel costs.

I guess they should if they care about not being an exclusively legacy act. How many albums do they want to release and not play live? But maybe a regular tour but with fewer dates and stadiums? The thing is, I think they went for the package tour because they wanted to coin themselves as this legendary 90s/00s nostalgia band and it drew lots of people so maybe that's what they'll keep going for. Slowly rolling out some of the old material like the BBC sessions fits the vibe too.

I’m very curious to see where they go from here. Another split tour? Or will they attempt to do this again on their own? There’s no way they don’t come back for more $$ Realistically, they have about 10 years to cash in before calling it quits/changing their show so I think they’ll want to be efficient with their touring/release schedule.
