  1. I got this photo from greendaysminority on Instagram. She posted it in a story a few months back, so I requested the full image from her and she finally saw the DM and sent it to me. She also reposted my new Billie drawing. @The Grohl I LOVE his eyes in it. Just absolutely stunning. Very mesmerizing as you mentioned. This one's just super cute. I love it when he gets wide-eyed like this.

  2. The illustration is really good, but I don't like the weird proportions. It just makes it unsettling imo. I guess that's just his style, but it's not my cup of tea.

  3. A Look Back at 50 of the Best Concerts in Cleveland From the Past 50 Years Green Day House of Blues April 16, 2015 When the Sex Pistols were belatedly inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, singer Johnny Rotten wanted nothing to do with the hoopla. Not Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong. Prior to its induction, Green Day, which single-handedly reintroduced punk rock to the masses thanks to some monster hits it had in the ’90s and ’00s, played a sold out show at House of Blues that served as a celebration for both the band and its fans. In the band’s first live performance in a year, Armstrong appeared genuinely humbled by the experience, and the band sounded sharper than ever as it really fed off the energy of the packed-to-the-gills club (some fans even camped out overnight to ensure a good spot on the stage floor in front of the stage). Regularly hopping on top of the speaker monitor to beckon the audience to sing-a-long, the bushy-haired Armstrong reveled in the capacity crowd’s adoration. The concert began with a stripped-down performance by the band’s original lineup, which featured Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt and original drummer John Kiffmeyer. The set gave the band an opportunity to share memories and play a few early tunes. That set’s opening tune “Don’t Leave Me,” suggested the elements that would make Green Day famous — snarling vocals and infectious guitar riffs. Playing many of the songs for the first time in years, the guys clearly enjoyed revisiting their back catalog.

  4. Yeah it's obvious it's Billie's AI vocals over the Broadway version. Still interesting to hear but both versions are great in their own right and don't really need modifying.

  5. Agreed, in some ways it’s great, just weird in others. Cartooning is very difficult to get right!

  6. Billie looks like some kind of 50s movie star in the second one.

  11. Jools Holland could be a good call, as ever, we just need to wait and see. I don’t see it would have anything to do with the BBC session recordings being released though. Hopefully something to get excited about!

  15. Hopefully something! I’m so excited! I’m jumping to conclusions! But a lot of us are feeling like something is up and it’s been like that for a couple of weeks… Hopefully this is something! Isn’t it a pain to travel from the US to the UK right now? Seems too much of a coincidence.

  16. https://www.instagram.com/p/CVa1qbHrocG/?utm_medium=copy_link So Tre and family are in London, now Chris Dugan posted this, I saw someone say Mike was in London but I don’t know why they thought that, what’s going on I wonder? Could be something or nothing.

  26. I hope it’s something new 😍 But yeah what else could it be but the BBC Sessions. They can record here. Travelling is a pain. Sure they were in a bunch of cities working on stuff for the Trilogy… This maybe is either maybe rehashing previous stuff or something they have never done before. Being a Green Day fan is the best. Mysteries and excitement! I hope so!!!!!!!!! I’m getting too excited about basically nothing 😆 We will find out soon hopefully!

  32. Until this is confirmed legit, I'd hesitate to believe that it's real. Whatsername is my favorite GD song, so it would be great if there's another version of it.

  35. @Lady Mix-A-Lot No, I think Billie's mouth is one of his most attractive features. When he's singing or speaking I'm usually staring at it or his eyes.

  41. Ah, makes me want to draw Billie again! Doing to a silhouette like that would be super simple and easy. Maybe I should do one too. But I also love doing the details, though that's more time intensive. Don't know if I ever posted it in this thread so I'll go ahead since it's resurfaced. I did this one a few months ago. https://www.instagram.com/p/CQE5iQqtLAl/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
