I can't thank you enough for showing us the front view of this scene ๐ It was well worth the wait.10 points

San Francisco show https://riffmagazine.com/reviews/green-day-fall-out-boy-hella-mega-tour-20210827/ Found this on Getty Images too. Another old photo of Billie with "Blue". Didn't say what show it was from5 points

For the many many people who have asked โhow tall is Billie Joe?โ over the years, finally a video has surfaced where he admits it himself โ 5โ7โ4 points

At least we knew it would be pre-taped and didnโt need to wait up if we didnโt want to. Not like the 2020 NYE performance on Fox ๐ that caused a lot of disappointment and rant tweets ๐ although nobody on NYE was saying they were gonna piss on their laptop ๐ this is my new fav Green Day fan overreaction to waiting and frustration โค๏ธ Green Day fansโฆ Love you!4 points

It's crazy because when you're watching them on stage they don't look small at all! Even Mike isn't so tall at 5'10". Maybe that's why They're all quite small3 points
-
I think Tre is the shortest, just by a whisker, he certainly seems it in lots of pics though it pays to check out their shoes. ๐ I think Tre just seems bigger because he is much chunkier than Billie, also as @solongfromthestars said, Billieโs posture makes him seem smaller.3 points
-
I'm still convinced Billie is 5'8". I'm nearly 5'8" (definitely an inch taller than you @Rumpelstiltskin2000 ) and Billie was at least an inch taller than me when I got onstage. I think that may well be because he slumps offstage but stands up straight when he's in his element.3 points

Cool! I hope to see these tiny men in person some day. I am every intrigued. I think heโs shorter than 5โ7โ. Even the clip said โabout 5โ7โ that could maybe mean almost anything. Youโre 5โ6โ and he seemed short or just like he was trying to shrink with his posture? I always felt like he was an ultimate showman on stage but ultimately the shyest in real life when he wanted to be. I love his puffed up stage presence and his sometimes vulnerability in interviews etc.3 points

The first time I saw Billie in person on the pavement/sidewalk outside the St James Theatre in New York I couldn't believe how tiny he was and I'm 5'6". He just seemed tiny in every way. I think it's partly because he keeps his hands in his pockets and hunches his shoulders over? I have to say even Tre seemed tiny when I met him but he was thinner on the 99 Revolutions Tour3 points

Too short when you compare to Billie Eilish or Coldplay. But still cool to have stuff from Green Day! Hope we will get some new shit before the tour continuation in 2022.3 points

It was nice to see Mike's base camera footage in the pro shot. But overall it was too short...3 points

Green Day is on now. Pollyanna, Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Longview from the Los Angeles HellaMega concert. They showed Dodger Stadium in an aerial view.3 points

Yeahโฆ wtf Kevin โค๏ธ โTodayโ ๐ thanks. This is kind of really useless. Haha the one time I said anything less than Kevin is perfect P.S. I love Kevin and heโs the best thing to happen to a Green Day tour since Jason and then Jason.3 points

I donโt get that channel but thatโs ok. Iโm gonna piss on my keyboard if Fox makes us wait for hours and keeps showing prerecorded Green Day weโve all seen a million times.2 points
-
I saw it by scrolling back through the live feed. It was good but no different from the Life Is Beautiful performance we got or any other night on the tour. Theyโre all nearly identical2 points

No. There just isn't that much going on atm regarding Green Day. It's very active whenever an album or single is released or announced etc.2 points

You can watch it live here and also rewind to the beginning of Green Dayโs part.2 points

I've written a travel guide on how to plan a tour of the Bay Area's Green Day history. This is mostly about getting there and the most common questions I get asked about safety, money, etc because a surprising amount of people are scared off by Oakland's reputation and the misconception that flights to California are prohibitively expensive. I'll write up some example itineraries in other posts. https://www.mariagloriaharvey.com/post/plan-gd-history2 points

Iโm sure itโll pop up somewhere eventually all three songs1 point

Yeah this is what Kevin posted but sadly doesn't tell us anything we didn't already know1 point

Green Day should just tell us what time they're on like a normal band ๐๐1 point

โDowntown Stage acts included a thunderous closing set from Green Day, whose Billie Joe Armstrong, an Oakland native, chided the local audience for "stealing my Raiders," preceded by Surfaces, Modest Mouse and HAIM.โ To be fair that was pretty hilarious. โYโall stole my Raiders from me. What the fuck?! And now Iโm supposed to come and entertain you??โ ๐๐๐1 point
-
I like how it's cut, they focus on the band not the audience. I hate how with some festival footage (iHeart for example) they spend more time showing randos in the crowd singing than they show the band performing. This has minimal audience shots.1 point
