I actually had a full blown, long involved Green Day dream, one of those weird ones where I had been awake for ages, very early and then was solid when I should have been getting up. The HM tour had just finished and I was on my way to the gym, but couldn’t get in as I couldn’t find my key because the gym staff had it. The gym reception was outside and was laid out with rows and rows of those silly white chairs you get at weddings, on grass and lots of people were coming in and sitting down. While I was waiting, Mike came in then Billie Joe and nobody paid any attention. Billie started saying to Mike he had this great idea, then started doing this Louis Armstrong impersonation and turning blue, we were all, including Mike, really worried about him as he was getting short of breath. I thought I couldn’t approach him, nobody was, but then decided I would never forgive myself if I didn’t so got this big bit of paper for him to sign however, when I got near him and started to speak to him (gushing, you can imagine) the bit of paper got smaller and smaller until it was too small to write on so he took out his phone, motioned for me to sit beside him and started taking pics. There was this really hard nosed, suited and booted business woman harrying them to do stuff and saying “ they should never have let that guy Jeff go, things were better with him” so I assured her Kevin was quite popular. 😂😂

Song sounds great, really captures the energy of the live performance (no falsetto though damn). Still, it’s a lot of fun. Green Day always slay with their classic covers

I really wish they'd done Pollyanna instead. I don't care for this song and Pollyanna, being a new song that sounded really great live and felt so special, would have been waaaay better. When they played it at my show it just felt amazing. It was the perfect song to bring out on this tour. I'm sure that it means something. Pete Wentz was the one who said it initially near the end of FOB's set, then it was reiterated I think by Billie (maybe, I can't remember who, but it was mentioned multiple times).

Would love a Hella Mega live album/DVD with all three bands IF we get the full set from each. Would be a nice box set type thing to have with 3 CDs and 3 DVDs.

I agree, if they did a DVD each that would be ok but if it was one with all three bands interspersed it would suck.

Nah, I think this is just them releasing “whatever they want whenever they want”. I am not a Kiss fan and was a little disappointed by the announcement but it sounds great and the video is great, such fun and energy!

Yup, a gaping wound really and the truly ridiculous thing is, though they were also somewhat stale, RevRad setlists still had more songs that weren't already on BIAB and/or AAF. The Hella mega tour setlists on the other hand simply add Pollyana, Rock n Roll All Nite (KISS cover), Knowledge (Operation Ivy Cover) and Still Breathing... that's it RevRad setlists (depending on where of course) might have added Christie Road, Letterbomb (the first two already being AAF bonus songs to be fair), Scattered, Armatage Shanks, Knowledge (Operation Ivy Cover), Forever Now, Still Breathing, Bang Bang, Revolution Radio, Youngblood, Ordinary World, Nice Guys Finish Last etc. (there were more occasional deep cuts depending on the gig). So, as much as I've been asking for a new live album over the years, I've gotta say that that at least for now, setlist-wise, a Hella Mega live album would be beyond stale...
