The Trilogy is Green Day’s most underrated neglected treasure. Including the songs that didn’t make it on the records.

This is why vaccinations are important. The odds of a vaccinated person spreading to another vaccinated person are less if a breakthrough case happens. We had a scare at my work going away party last weekend because an idiot coworker is part of a religious cult (too long to explain here ) full of anti-vaxxers. Of course despite her being vaccinated, she got COVID. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. But the reason I say vaccines are important is because nobody else at the party got it because we were all vaccinated and the likelihood of her transmitting it again was so low. Again, people not getting vaccinated is why we can’t get out of this fucking mess. Vaccines work. I would’ve 100% been in favor of vaccine mandates for this show. Our local venues are doing it here in Columbus and it worked just fine when I went to a show this week, you could even just show a picture. Granted, I’m sure people can forge the documentation like anything else, but even if it weeds out a few contaminated people it will help.

Holy shit I can't believe my show is on Monday! Any tips on sneaking a camera in? I'm planning to cover it in my bag with a sweater (which I will need anyway because it will get cooler in the evening) and putting the rest of my innocuous stuff on top of that. To they physically search through bags anymore or just have you open it and look peak inside? I'm assuming it's different based on venue. Obviously I'm not a professional photographer and won't be using these for anything other than personal stuff, so I don't feel bad about it.

The current variant shows symptoms within 3 to 5 days. So if you're outside of that time frame you're probably fine.

It still blows my mind that the first thing you guys think after an injury isn’t “fuck, how am I going to pay for this?” … which is what I said over and over as my husband drove me to the hospital with a broken wrist last year. He did raise $75,000 though so odds are if he has health insurance he’ll be just fine, money-wise. That and the fact that he’ll probably get a big payout settlement if he doesn’t sue. #murica

I was really hoping for a re-issue of the 2006 model or something new but still a Gibson Les Paul Junior. They’re expensive but almost affordable but not really but close enough when they’re released before they go up in value on the secondhand market. Oh well. I’ll keep an eye on reverb.com etc. Maybe I’ll get lucky. Or maybe the Epiphone thing is a rumor or only part of what’s being released. Still going to wait at least until October/November before I make any guitar purchases.

I’d also love to see his skincare routine. Like I’d be so interested in seeing his everyday skincare routine and how he removes his makeup after a show and the whole process he uses to cleanse and moisturizer his face before bed

This is why you WEAR A MASK! Even if you are vaccinated. And that's still not fully virus-proof. I'm going to wear a mask the entire time when I go to my show (which I really hope will not be cancelled🤞 - things are starting to become a lot stricter). I'm already used to wearing one for hours on end at work so it's not a big deal. I would not risk being maskless around that many people.
