His hesitation before answering the new music question tells me that there probably IS new music but no timeline. There wasn't a hard "no."

Sounded very hopeful as far as new music to me, he said not immediate but also that they always end up doing stuff and nothing to indicate it'll be ages and ages. Idk why immediate new music would be expected when they're about to tour their "current" put on hold because of covid album on a giant world tour and there was already a double Network album in the meantime. Also sounded genuinely very happy to be getting back on stage and looks cute, all good!

Wow, Billie only looks about 30. Watching the video finally makes his agelessness even more apparent. I saw a lot of comments on it about how young he looks and how beautiful he is.

nimblist Happy Friday! We’ve had lots going on in Green Day preproduction world getting ready for The Hella Mega Tour which debuts on July 24 in Dallas, Tx! Currently, Justin and his team are in the Previz - which “allows us visualize the lighting programming in a computer environment without having to access the full production. For this particular exercise, that means whilst at full production rehearsals for Fall Out Boy and GreenDay, one act can be using the full stage set up while the other can remain productive in the previz suite, and both are able to switch easily from one set up to the other. Thus both creative teams can work on their shows with equal opportunity.” Justin and his crew will be able to access the stage tonight, allowing them to see their programming IRL. I know! Poor thing. I wouldn't be functional if I had to get up that early. It's actually really impressive that he's doing it at all. Everyone should give him a break about the supposed un-enthusiasm. We know he's not a morning person and that is just ridiculously early to be cognizant of anything at all.

Well Billie looks great. That's the only thing that matters. He looks like he's taking good care of himself and will have plenty of energy and enthusiasm when he gets to play shows again on tour. Love the black hair! He still doesn't look anywhere near his actual age. I can't wait to see the video of this interview, even if it's just like 20 seconds or whatever. It will just be good to hear his voice again.

We don't care about Covid cases as long as you're not hospitalized. Vaccines doesn't immune you from getting the virus, but from getting to the hospital. Covid is finally over I don't even get why FF postponed a show because of a case. We're vaccinated. Let us live.

Has anyone watched Green Day interviews from the 90s onwards before? He used to be waaaaay more grumpy and disinterested than he ever is now lol. He would openly act bored and have contempt for interviewers. Just because he doesn't act all excited and enthusiastic in interviews it doesn't mean he won't be on stage, he's never ever been unenthusiastic at shows.

Pete had a flight delay and missed the interview. I’m glad because his time would have been even shorter Yes. His absence combined with his attitude is doing nothing good for the fandom

I just... one of my best friends is blind to Billie's beauty. She absolutely cannot understand how he's attractive and it baffles me! She's a lesbian, but that shouldn't matter at all. I think it'll be before 2024. Don't think it would be that long. Wouldn't be surprised if we got one in 2022 Although, I wouldn't mind if it were that long if it meant we get a top tier Green Day album.
