If you go by what they said during the promotion, this is Green Day’s tour. It was their desire to play a stadium tour and do it like Monsters of Rock. They pitched it to Crush. Mike named it Hella Mega. They invited Weezer and FOB to join it. (Only after they were hired did Weezer record an album of stadium rock to tour on) Green Day were the first to announce it. They headlined Whiskey A GoGo and played a set twice as long as the other bands. This is their tour. Except now when it comes to promotion you wouldn’t know that. Just because Green Day are being incredibly gracious and humble with their supporting bands doesn’t make it any less their tour.

Last time I checked there's three band names on the bill... I don't get how Green Day fans are so far up their own asses these days that they don't understand that Fall Out Boy and Weezer are two very longstanding, popular bands. It's insane.

According to my TV screen guide, just Weezer and FOB are performing on this. Billie, Rivers and Pete are doing an interview like they did with the promotion in 2019. No idea why Green Day aren’t performing when it’s their tour but ok

I don't even have a weird and wacky wish list this time around. Just one thing - FOUR SINGLES. Promote the album, gosh darn it. It can sound like literally anything. And maybe it should come with coffee. Okay, I do have a wish list. But it has nothing to do with sound.

Who Mike's family members follow on Instagram isn't a discussion that's on topic for this thread. Unless Brittney is posting photos of Mike/Green Day this isn't the place to discuss her or her Instagram. And unless Mike himself posts/follows something there's nothing to discuss about him either.

So Green Day is splitting up because Billie Joe is doing a solo performance on GMA 😂 Classic GDC reaction.

They wrote "GREEN DAY'S BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG" and #GreenDayOnGMA because Billie's leaving the band.
