Shit songs? His best stuff has been released under side projects recently. I’m wondering how much the songs for this band will be co-written and therefore maybe a different beast from his other bands. Maybe this is more of a collaboration like Pinhead and less a solo effort like Longshot

Fuck you, Funko! Stop taking everything under the sun, particularly things I care about, and turning them into ugly, distorted little abominations. It feels like they are trying to get their greedy, corporate hands on anything and everything they can, similar to Disney. When will it end? If you like Funko Pops, that's fine. More power to you. I just have a very strong loathing for them. Getting off my soapbox now. I've stated my opinion in a couple of places so I'm done.

Huge bummer that they recorded 5 songs here (only 4 were broadcast) and they only put two on the 7". It would have been nice if they released the whole session. Hey- I just noticed it says "Part 1" on the front of the 7". So they'll probably make us pay another $20 for two more songs a couple months from now

I’m probably only going to preorder Billie and wait for Mike and Tre to come out in stores. My thinking is that Billie will be most popular and he’ll sell out quicker.

When you keep coming back to Green Day songs, even if you find some great song from other band. Then after a while it's like "nah, they're not Green Day, gimme Billie".

Yup, it’s a part one. So instead of releasing a four song EP for the same $20, they’re splitting it into two 7”’s. That’s a cash grab if there ever was one. I preferred the fan club when all you had to be to join was a fan of Green Day. Now you also have to be a coffee addict.

The Longshot rules all. If this project is like the Longshot but a band and not Billie playing everything I am so excited. Although Billie playing everything is super impressive and I love it. Longshot for lyfe. Omg I hope this is very much Longshot-esque and a project full of “shit songs”. Those are the best songs. The Trilogy and Longshot = yes. Fake songs = no. Like when Billie writes from what he doesn’t know. That’s a no. Heartbreak, crushes and power-pop = yes.

For those in Europe who are looking to get the GD Funko Pop, you can preorder them on Amazon.fr. But the Billie one is already sold out. All others Amazon sites from Europe don't have them. Amazon .com and .ca have them available to preorder and delivery is free if you buy all 3. ToysOnFire (in Ottawa, Canada) have them too and they are less expensive than Amazon, but expect to pay for delivery if you don't buy them in store directly.

It works for the energy but it also puts me into a good mood so I don’t feel like ranting I’d mind this less if they shipped from the EU. The vinyl is pricey as it is, even without shipping and customs fees. They should merge Oakland Coffee and GD online stores.

I joined the a coffee club to see the other stuff which I can, but I don’t pay anything and don’t subscribe to the coffee. Shipping to the Uk makes the coffee so expensive it’s mad, and I think it would incur taxes too! Don’t do vinyl but this looks great. 🥲

It was 109 degrees F today, which is absolutely record shattering for the Pacific Northwest, and my brain has been a bit scrambled from the heat (my car has no AC and my house is 90 degrees still at 10pm). When I was at work today, which has AC thank god, I was looking at other stores in the area with my coworker to see what kind of money they were making since it's been so slow because of the heat and I accidentally said "what is Green Day?" instead of "what is greenwood?" (As in what are they at in terms of sales. Greenwood is the location of another store in our district). We both cracked up over that.
