Seasoned reviewers of Broadway musicals gave him rave reviews and you, or at least I and many others, felt we got a hint of how well he came over in Broadway Idiot, so yes, I do believe he is a great performer, he was very good on Broadway and I want to see a properly recorded performance with him in it. Most of the video footage on YouTube is fairly poor quality.

We're fans of Billie so we'd enjoy watching his performance in full. Especially as it seems like probably his best acting performance, and as a stage musical (based on an album and character he created no less) it's unique for him. What's wrong with wanting to see it?

No, as @Montclare said there are only small, broken up bits of Billie’s performance and we know from all the reviews etc that he totally lit up the stage, I would give my eye teeth to see a full performance from him. @Hermione I can’t believe you haven’t watched it, it’s interesting, entertaining and very fangirl worthy, think you would enjoy it.

Broadway Idiot is great, but there's only a few minutes of Billie's performance in it. I'd love a full video of one of the shows he performed in. I know it doesn't look likely that AI the movie will happen, but who knows where we'll be politically at any given time and place. It'll always be relevant and relatable. Only bad thing is if it ever does happen, Billie will most likely be too old to play St. Jimmy, and that's the main appeal for a lot of people. Just look how the ticket sales went up when he played him on Broadway and then fell when he left.

Originally there weren’t meet and greets planned for this tour, so be careful, this might be a scam. If it’s not, well, Green Day gets worse and worse so this fits.

I just read this as "Billie lounging around in a shark carcass". I think that's a sign I should go to bed.

I had such a chaotic, crazy dream last night. It's way too long, but I will say the memorable parts were Billie almost dying, Billie dressed in bronze colored plate armor (it obscured his face, unfortunately) for a movie GD was making I guess, and Billie lounging above a shark carcass deep underwater (dressed in regular clothes, not SCUBA gear) while raising a champagne glass for a music video (?).

There was one on YouTube back then (someone recorded it with a secret camera in their hat!) but it got taken down really quickly. I always think someone must still have it but... I don't know if it will ever surface again sadly

It's no surprise that the movie will never happen, but I'm sad they never even released recordings of the actual Broadway musical with Billie. I know there are recordings of other versions and they're great, but they're not the same. I guess they feel it wouldn't be worth the cost of properly releasing it and it probably wouldn't now. It might have been several years ago though. Oh well.

I often find myself listening to Green Day every day, but I mainly listen to their live performances more than I do their studio material, anyone else do that? I mostly listen to my favorite concert they did, Reading 2013. I really hope when they get back to doing concerts, they'll play more stuff from Revolution Radio or Father Of All, even. I'd like to see a live performance of "Sugar Youth" or "I Was A Teenage Teenager" at some point.
